Avoid the temptation to play any Jade Idols until late in the game. You want to have plenty of draw in hand to avoid stalling out, allowing you to swarm the board with Jade Golems.
You've inspired me - I loved Jade Druid so much and the all spell variation makes it that much better. It feels a little slow, so I swapped out for Naturalize and some removal with Bogbeam. Thanks for the idea and gl!
Nice! Bogbeam seems like a solid choice.
Branching Paths is a supremely flexible card. One of the very best cards for Druid ever made! Mostly I need it for the +12 Armor. But I've also finished off opponents with the attack bonus. And once in a while the draw is required.
Blessing of the Ancients is significantly better at buffing tokens. This deck has no trouble generating tokens; Power of the Wild is just not that useful.
I think an argument can be made to replace Jade Blossom, but not because it's a "dead card". Ramp is always useful, and that's especially true for an Untapped Potential deck where you're falling behind in the early game. Every bit of extra mana is helpful. And in the late game, a 3-mana Jade Golem generator is quite efficient.
I see, I'm just worried that it might take the place of a card that would be better. Because this deck can't deal with aggro and as you have the quest you can't ramp with jade blossom on turn 3. Plus you're already dead at turn 4 lol
And why does one need 2 Jade Idols? They just fill up one hand space before late game
As I said, maybe there's a better card than Jade Blossom, but in about a week's play I took this deck from Gold to Diamond 6 (as of today), so it's at least not a terrible choice! lol
I have two Jade Idols to ensure there's one in my hand when I want it. I agree that it might be overkill. That said, just yesterday I played a game I nearly lost because both of them were the last two cards in my deck!
Also I feel like Jade Blossom is not really needed here, I've never used it to ramp and you don't really need to summon early Jade golems as you got glowflies and eagles. So Jade Blossom has always been two extra dead cards
Why Branching Paths if the combined Choose One effect doesn't apply to the card. And why Blessing of the Ancients and not Power of the Wild?
