How far you reached with this deck ?
Oh i found you. I was trying to find who made that deck two days ago but i failed. Now i can say a big Thank you for the deck. Last season I finally hit a legend for the first time using your deck. and once again Thank you.
this is the ultimate zoolock thread that make warlock relevent again in AoO :P~~~
ty bro +1
Thank you mate!
Gotta love people loving Wlock again! :)
Thanks so much for this deck. I am loving it.
Why not include Darkglare? Seems like an amazing Warlock card. I'm going to try it out.
cause darkglare in this deck is way too slow
Well I've never thought of that to be honest, I prefer the faster way to win.
BUT, this would be awesome against slower decks such as Mages or Priests.
However, we do not lack mana control, in my opinion. Our mana is almost perfect to put out great plays.
Thanks for your advice and your opinion! :)
Version without adventure card!
I add
1 faerie dragon(strong vs rogue and priest,we buff his health to 4 then we win)
1 iron break owl (mvp vs priest or druid, work as finisher)
1 destroy weapon minions idk his name, mvp vs rogue and hunter
1 option card for your own matchup, for me its twisted knowledge
BTW ty for the idea,im >80% after about 40 match <3
Wow! This is my first share here and I never thought that I would get so many replies and so many good opinions. Thanks for sharing your replacements as well! :) good luck climbing.
Is very similar to another deck that was number 1 in legend in april made by puksin ( pro player)
Great deck !
Thank you for sharing
Most good players will likely entirely disagree with this choice, but its something I've done in every zoo list this set, including my own homebrew(which was gaining some steam even, though i ultimately ended up deleting it due to it slowly turning into damn near exactly what others had already built)
-2 Soulfire
+2 Twisted Knowledge
Often people say 'oh its too slow', thought thats probably the kind version of what they say lol.
But I entirely disagree. For one, i rather dislike the random discard. Its nice when it plays out just right. But i've personally found that zoo is rarely in dire need of just 4-8 more damage, especially if it ends up discarding anything other than Hand of Gul'dan. And, as I believe we all know by now, this deck wins via scrap imp, both by getting it early, and by having as many minions in hand as possible before it breaks Dormant. And IMO Twisted Knowledge is often a huge help to either one. Often times, if you don't manage to hit a scrap imp via mulligan or first draw, you can at least hit a Twisted Knowledge. Which in my experience, is quite often either the scrap imp you've been hoping/waiting for, or depending on the situation, it can be removal, so on and so fourth. I am not going into full detail only to be voted down into oblivion. But when it comes to an empty hand and topdecking(which seems to happen rather rarely to me, but still) 2 cards are better than 1, IMPO. Especially if you can hit another Twisted Knowledge. There are times when you get unlucky picks from it though. Being forced to take another 6+ mana card is rough especially if you are in dire need of discarding Hand of Gul'dan
But all in all, I entirely love Twisted Knowledge. I always add it in my warlock decks, and though not a popular choice in a faster deck like Zoo, all i have to say is - This set, so far, Zoo isnt a fast aggro deck.... Until it is. And besides... Twisted Knowledge can easily become a soulfire if thats what you need, its just won me so many games. I hope others find it useful as well. I used to try and fit Vilefiend but while the lifesteal can be useful, its often more trouble than its worth, especailly without Kanrethad Ebonlocke to make it a 1 drop(and thus able to proc with carpet). And Twisted Knowledge has been a much better use of that slot.
Sorry for the long repetative comment, I rarely want to comment on other peoples lists.... But I'm passionate about Zoo. Old zoo, new zoo, all zoo. Just not disco....
Thank you for your opinions!
And thank you for the long, informative post.
I never imagined using the Knowledge card, until you have mentioned it, to be honest.
But after reading this post, it seems logical.
Random discard option is lowering our win condition.
I normally use Soulfires to finish the opponent or trade minion(mostly empty-handed situations).
I prefer the ''mid'' type of zoolock sometimes with this deck.
And knowledge fits it even better.
Surely, I am going to give it a try with that replacement.
Thank you for your time and explanations,
Best of luck! :)
LMK what you think/thought of it when you try it. I've loved it, mostly. And while i do hate to take back the one and only real change that i've made to zoo since this set was live, making it my own list, I do have to say, it has cost me a games. As I've climbed I have noticed that number is rising, though i still think I'm a net positive from twisted. I think I may have mentioned before, one of the big reasons I do love it so much in zoo is that there are just SO MANY different opinions on which cards are viable to tech in, which to take out, etc etc. Twisted, especially two of them, makes that much easier, IMO. Sure, its not gonna be what you want every single time, and maybe it's just me - possibly just used the card so much - but I can often predict what i will get from it, or what it may offer, i should say.
Obviously the biggest thing with it, is that it not only helps fill your hand before ISI pops, but also that it gives extra ISI, which can sometimes be a huge advantage.
Now that i've been playing zoo a bit longer, I've come across a few other options, that may be better, or maybe worse, or maybe worth running all of em together, but I'm curious if you've tried Teron Gorefiend [/card] or [card] Maiev Shadowsong much? Now the biggest thing with maiev that people initially think is, its a way to get around taunts and such. WHich is true. But it can also be used, though very situationally, to get extra value from ISI. I have rarely found good opportunities to do such, but still, its an option especially if you for whatever reason cant run twisted, or maybe only have 1 ISI, idk. But its a thing.
The better option, IMO to get extra value from ISI, among other minions as well, is Teron. Now I was hesitant to run him until very recently, because I figured that it would not be good, due to ISI offering +2/+2, and Teron only +1/+1. I assumed(correctly) that if I dropped a buffed flame imp, for example, a 5/4, and then used teron, and teron popped, I'd get a 4/3, rather than a 6/5. A shame that I was right. Buuut. He can be soooo handy when you dont draw your ISI, or if you've played it, and like maeiv, for whatever reason needing to get addition value from ISI. If you have an ISI on board, when it pops, it buffs your hand(which makes teron a monster), and when you teron the popped ISI, when teron dies, you get a 4/4 ISI that will pop again in 2 turns. Again, likely very niche. But its fun if not always strong. I'm still experimenting with a bunch of ideas, but I'd love to hear what you think.
And what about Lackeys? I personally havent had much luck with the lackey versions, too unpredictable and too reliant on killing your own minions. But, I recently decided to try it, while also running Pharaoh. It definately feels too slow, which was an issue i felt with other lackey lists, but i have to say, it feels real good to drop a 1 mana 6/6 with added battlecry, especially with carpet. I feel like its possibly stronger against control lists than aggro, but I also am shit with that particular list, so perhaps if you or someone better at the game, could find a way to optimize?
Anyway, thanks for the kind response to my comment. And thanks in advance for reading this far too long comment, and for--- Well just being a cool dude, and whatever else. You know what I mean, lol.
Hello there,
Very cool deck my friend, seems quite strong even if initially didn't seem so powerful to me, before started playing it. ;)
Some thoughts and replacements' proposals for people, like me, that may not own the required deck's cards from Galakrond's Awakening adventure:
-2 Fiendish Servant
-2 Frenzied Felwing
-------------------------------
+2 Bluegill Warrior
+2 Wolfrider
I think their "charge" ability together with a possible Imprisoned Scrap Imp buff is awesome! Plus, you have more minions to go face directly or even help with board clear if no Magic Carpet is drawn early enough.
Of course, any objections or alternatives to these cards are more than welcome! :)
Cheers!
Thanks for your reply mate!
These card options seems really nice, especially for people who haven't bought the adventure.
I personally love the bonus effect on servants, but felwings are surely replaceable.
I should give the deck a try with this new version.
Thanks :)
Yeah, surely, bonus effect on servants is really powerful, but maybe using low mana-cost charge minions instead, could be a fair workaround. :)
How can I replace Frenzied Felwing?
Hey mate,
Samiwinch above replied your question I assume.
You may give a shot with that replacements :)
