Glad you guys are enjoying the deck so far! Video will come tomorrow!
So this deck has some fun combo's you can pull off with the double battlecry mechanic that can steal games really easy. It helps that you will complete the quest, while maintaining board advantage my turn 6 usually.
Lackie's are an amazing way to trigger your quest requirement as they cost 1 mana and have great tempo effects. You generate them thought Sludge Slurper, EVIL Totem, and EVIL Cable Rat.
Onto the fun cards, the Tempo/Board control Package. There are 3 amazing and versatile cards in this deck that can do so much for you, Weaponized Wasp Is a great value card that can gain you tempo in the early game or combo with your hero power for 6 damage to the face. Serpentshrine Portal is also a great way to gain control of the board early game, as well as Burrowing Scorpid This is probably one of my favorite cards because it destroys Demon Hunter's 2 health minions, gains stealth so you can set up a good face damage turn or trade into a bigger minion.
I will also mention The Lurker Below here because he can single handedly carry a game vs aggro with his amazing battlecry.
Totem's, totem's, totem's. Shamans have gained a great addition to their kit this expansion with Totemic Reflections This card mixed with either EVIL Totem, or Mana Tide Totem provide you with a good trade or resource generation. Because of how strong this card is, I opted to include 1 Splitting Axe that can just steal games if your totems are left unchecked, and the option to push some extra face damage is also really beneficial.
I have included 1 copy of Bloodlust to help cheese game's vs the priest and warlock match up, but it isn't necessary as you can generate one through lackies from time to time.
Another card that helps with closing slow games out is Lady Vashj This card isn't that great in aggro matchups, most of the time it will just be a 3 mana 4/3 which isn't great, but not terrible. In control matchup's though this card can draw you that extra damage with your portal's, bloodlust, or totemic reflections to buff a minion on the board.
The last card I will touch on is Cobalt Spellkin This is a good solid card that can generate you with game winning cards like Storm's Wrath, Earth Shock, or Lightning Bolt.
Try the deck out and hope you guy's find as much success with it as I have.
If this deck makes it to the front page ill write a matchups/mulligan's gameplan and maybe a video tutorial on how my thought process piloting this beast happens.

Performance at diamond rank is barely 50%
The deck was made mostly to counter Tempo demon hunter, as its prevalence has dropped since the last round of nerfs so to has my decks winrate as other decks are able to come in that this deck has a harder matchup vs.
Still a fun deck that you can climb with but a lot of the decisions and interactions that make it shine will only become second nature after 30+ games.
I still find great success against demon hunter, warlock, and priest. Hunter's rise has been troubling to deal with however.
I face a lot of priests there so one could just tech in a murloc plague or frog, no?
also: with Quest bonus, does The Lurker Below do 6 dmg to all minions?
You definately could tech in a murloc plague, its a great win condition vs rez priest, I find I can reliably get it enough off lackies in the late game but its also pretty RNG based to get the right lackey and then also discover it.
Lurker below will damage the first minion for 3 if it doesnt kill it will damage for 3 again and then move onto next if it kills, It wont do 3 damage to one minion and then check again on the next if it doesnt kill and activate again since it is a target specific casted battlecry.
No it does 3 damage once to each minion from one side to the other, then it does it again, and it will only go through the entire board if all minions have 6 or less health with quest
I assumed the interaction wouldn't work this way. Maybe I am wrong but the way the card seems to me is that it does a check if it kills a target with 3 damage and if so does a check on the next target. If not the action stops. I would be very shocked if it did 3 damage and killed a minion, damaged the adjacent minion and then dealt 3 damage again to a dead minion and checked again.
Hearthstone rarely is coded in this way,
If you would like to test this with me feel free to leave your battle tag. I just haven't had the chance to test this specific interaction as it seemed obvious it wouldn't work this way.
I always have to use him on a single minion, but he does do 6 Dmg there ;)
Excited to try this out. I was having some success with totem shaman but when you fall behind, especially versus demon hunter, there´s no coming back

Edit: I´ve found Lady Vashj vastly underwhelming. Lots of times she doesnt draw anything, or worse gets you closer to fatigue.
I´ve replaced her with a Waste Warden.
To each their own. For me personally she has carried so many games that I cant imagine not including her. Ill hopefully get some footage for the guide tomorrow to showcase, How is the deck feeling for you so far?
Unfortunately I haven't done very well so far. Demon hunters almost always beats me and I don't make up for it with the few matches against other classes. I'll probably need more time playing the deck so I'll keep practicing.
i droped one explorer and added grand lacky fore more value
I also dropped a questing, found the dead draws late game are kinda annoying with 2. But repalced with gnomish inventor, I thought about including grand lackey, but havent brought myself to finish that part of the solo mode to unlock him lol.
with the quest generating extra value from the lackeys the grand lackey adds so much push to this deck from adding extra Draconian lackeys to the kobald lackeys i just feel like its a great addition and thanks you for putting suggestion in
I really like this deck. It surprises people. The mixture of battlecry cards and the totemic reflection trick can be effective. Also I include two copies of Cobalt Spellkin... the one mana spells for Shaman are so good.
Hey thanks, grab you like my deck. Two copies of Cobalt is definitely a good inclusion. I swap between gorefiend and an extra copy or maiev depending on what the ladder is giving me for opponents.
The problem with all these decks that work at legend, where people experiment the most, is that they often do not work at lower ranks.
I got legend with the deck mate.
To add something to that actually, the reason the deck works is because right the most played decks have primarily been warlock, demon hunter and priest.
This deck has good match ups against all of those.
Really? Weird. I've tried the deck and I mostly lost to DH who has much faster tempo. By the time you finish the quest you're already 10 hp down at least. Not to mention the fact that clearing my board was always a stroll in the park for them.
