A lot of my core thoughts about what makes the core for this deck can be found here: https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1284425-insane-wild-high-rank-murloc-shaman-rank-20-3

However a few tweaks have been made to increase flexibility and it works. Your aim is to stop your opponent stopping you in the first few turns. If you can dictate all the trades until you're ready to start finishing them. Normally they can't last long enough to win.

Secret Mage is a unfavourable match-up as is Odd Rouge

My match for legend was against secret mage and this deck won. Woooooo

What did I learn in my experience playing this.

1) You need to play high risk. There are many examples. Drop powerful things. If you are offered an empty board going second, coin underbelly angler. You need to do the plays that put you in the best position for your next turn. If going first get out 1 drops and tinyfins. However save the tinyfins if you have underbelly angler in hand.

2) You need to control the trades. You can get surprise buffs or play out more fodder to deal with his minions, keeping your high power cards in play. Freeze there minions, use warleaders, rockpools and coldlight seers to trade up ect.

3) Make it as hard as possible for your opponent to do things. You might miss a lot of damage but that damage is no good if you have no juice to finish it off. Always come off in the best possible position.

4) Do maths when your opponent is making their move, seriously do it, know how much damage you have and how many murlocs you have. You have many large buff cards, sometimes using multiple finishes them off. This often happens when you look dead without a way out, sometimes they even have a fat taunt minion, however lethal is still possible with a little luck and going all in on damage.

5) A bit of luck, Some games fishflinger/underbelly angler will generate cards and you wouldn't have won without them. A big underbelly chain will yield hopefully something. Otherwise the deck itself is premium murlocs.

6) Flexibility, this deck has many approaches to it's opening, keep set ups you like. Something good will roll in.

7) Always try to play around secrets and if you can, play to counter secrets. Prioritise countering secrets that deal damage to all minions.

Hope you enjoy the deck, have fun.
