Summary

You should SMOrc his face and make calculated trades when possible.
Don't lose hope; just Restart until you get blessed by the RNG.
I was <10 damage off lethal so many times by getting screwed by some unwelcomed T2 Obliterate on either of my giants, a cheeky Obliterate on my Mirror Image to kill me off or a T6 Blizzard that put me to sleep.
You can do this.
