As Unexpected Results is costing 3-mana now, it is time for this deck to shine!
Mana Addict and Vex Crow are stars in this deck. They create incredible tempo with Twinspells. Also Vex Crow and Sea Giant synergy is so sweet and surprisingly quite overlooked for a long time. Conjurer's Calling allows you to get most out of your Sea Giants.
3 card combos are rarely work in Hearthstone. Yet, Elemental Evocation + Celestial Emissary + Unexpected Results combo on turn 3 or Elemental Evocation + Cosmic Anomaly + Unexpected Results combo on turn 5 appear to be exceptions for this particular deck. Those cards have synergies with other cards like Frostbolt, Mana Cyclone, etc too. So they're not useless out of those combos.
Things need to be kept in mind while playing:
- Casting Conjurer's Calling on Vex Crow will give you one 2-drop, two 4-drops.
- On turn 5; Khadgar + Unexpected Results combo will give you five 2-drop minions with approximently 7-10 total attack. You can always play Conjurer's Calling on two of them the next turn.
- While Khadgar is already on board; playing Elemental Evocation + Celestial Emissary + Unexpected Results combo will give you; two 2-drops and four 4-drops on board.
Mulligan:
- Always hard mulligan for Mana Addict, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Mana Cyclone and cheap spells like Ray of Frost or Mirror Image.
- Do not hesitate to play Sorcerer's Apprentice for tempo and Ray of Frost for defence against Aggro decks.
- Mech Hunter and Mech Pally tend to build up humongous minions by magnetizing their Mechs. Mirror Image, especially with Khadgar, slows them down nicely.
- If you have the coin, you can keep Unexpected Results for turn 2 play. You may end up with having one Sorcerer's Apprentice and one Faerie Dragon on board.
- Vex Crows are the stage 2 of the deck. Make your opponents waste their single target removals on Mana Addicts, Sorcerer's Apprentices and Stargazer Luna first.
- Sea Giants perform better if you draw them from the deck.
Enjoy :)

The deck is tempo/aggro deck. And like every other tempo deck, if you go too much defensive you'll lose the board at some point because the deck is not made to be defensive. It is designed to overwhelm your opponent with minions.
5 minutes ago, i played vs Deathrattle Hunter for example. My starting hand was Sorcerer's Apprentice, Vex Crow and Stargazer Luna . I discarded Vex Crow and Stargazer Luna and i got Ray of Frost and Magic Trick. At the start of my turn i was lucky enough (it actually has a nice drop rate in this deck) to get Mana Addict. At turn 1 he played a 1/1 deathratle minion. At turn 2 i played my Mana Addict knowing that it would be very unlikely to have an answer at turn 2. I was right, he didnt. He played another 2 cost mech minion. At turn 3 i got a Sea Giant. I landed my Sorcerer's Apprentice and used both charges of Ray of Frost on both of his minions as well as Magic Trick which gave me a Mirror Image. I also played Mirror Image and went face with my Mana Addict doing 9 damage at turn 3!!. I really felt kinda bad for the guy. He played Unleash the Hounds in order to destroy my Mirror Image filling his side of the board with minions. Next turn i got Conjurer's Calling. Played Sea Giant into Conjurer's Calling and that was it... next turn i used my other Conjurer's Calling and he conceded.
Another good thing about this deck is that is not as popular as other mage decks, making your opponents mulligan their starting hand assuming you have a Dragon Mage or a Cyclone Mage deck.

@Niriro
Dude before you play a deck make sure you:
#1. Understand the deck you are playing. Understand the strong and the soft spots of the deck you play.
#2. Make sure you are familiar with the meta, and make choices accordingly.

Anyway. If you dont like the deck, dont play it. If you dont understand the deck, try to understand it. Watch the Video from Kiwiinbacon or my replays at the start of this page. But please, do not assume that a deck is garbage before you undertsand the deck and play alot of games with it to get familiar with it.
@Marmaga;
I wish I could shake your hand. I couldn't have explained it better than you, thank you.
EDIT: I actually added to the first post if you don't mind.
Should I craft Unexpected Results? What kind of results should I expect from crafting Unexpected Results? I have great expectations.
Sorry for the late reply, it has been a long day.
If you're tight on dust, I recommend you to wait a couple of days to see how this deck performs. Even though this deck may fail, I postulate that Blizzard will print more cards in the future that will utilise Unexpected Results.
Khadgar + Unexpected Results = 5 2-drop minions on board for your opponent to deal with.
While Khadgar is already on board; Elemental Evocation + Celestial Emissary + Unexpected Results combo will give you 2 2-drops and 4 4-drops on board. It's not that easy to clear if you ask me.
Thanks! Also, upvoted for usage of the word “postulate”.
Haha, thanks. :D

I don't have Stargazer Luna , any advice for a replacement?
Probably just the good ole Arcane Intellect but Stargazer Luna is pretty valuable if you enjoy Mage decks.
Bloodmage Thalnos > Acolyte of Pain > Arcane Intellect
It's always better to put a body on board to make your opponents waste their resource to deal with it.
Would like to know on which ranks you played the deck.
From Rank 10 to 6 so far. I'm a constant R5 -R2 player myself and couple of times legend. I like to climb every month from the very bottom like in old days.
Terrible deck, so far 0-4
The thing is, you can find such comments even under Bomb Warrior, Mech Hunter or pre-nerf Lackey Rogue.
Player's playing style should match with the build of the deck for succesful outcome. Every deck is not perfect for everyone unfortunately.
Vex Crow is bad.
replacement?
Pls write a mulligan. its the best deck i ever played and i love you for posting it!
Update: 8-1 with this awesome deck!
Thank you so much! Unfortunately it is a busy day for me but tonight I'll take the risk of sleep deprivation and try to write a mulligan guide. Till then, I recommend you to check the game replays. :)
Mulligan is up. :)
I just tried this deck for 3 games. I faced a Murloc Shaman, a token druid, and a Ressurection Priest. Here are my results:
VS Ress Priest: https://hsreplay.net/replay/uFta4nvjiktaySTdHCQQse
VS Token Druid: https://hsreplay.net/replay/wSSndtGMMvNSiY3KheHswe
VS Murloc Shaman: https://hsreplay.net/replay/U4ov4WzGA7hM3DNrappUfk
VS Bomb Warrior: https://hsreplay.net/replay/fVHTUoWUkozHMs5VPcatCh
VS Pala (OTK??): https://hsreplay.net/replay/UEsdQkXhuVW6ua2ybzC6Un
I had a blast!!! Will definately use it. It was about time for a reliable aggro Mage deck to enter the game.
Thank you for this deck!
EDIT: Added a Bomb Warrior as well as somekind of an OTK Pala which i'm not familiar with. The only "problem" i find with the deck is that sometimes i get low on cards and there is only Stargazer Luna for it.
