Well, this is my version of Dragon Paladin! It's a midrange deck, and the meta is not very favourable to this kind of decks, but it has a good mix of agression, board control and big threats, that seems to work fairly well. In fact, I'm quite satisfied with it, I got some nice winstreaks (ranks 8 to 4), but I was sort of lucky, as I didn't find a lot of Rogue (pre-nerf), which was a bad matchup. I'll post some stats when I have more games with it (I have only 34 games with the last versions, I won 22 of them, that's a 65% winrate).
The function of most cards should be obvious, but I have some advice for you, in case you want to test it:
- You normally want to play on curve, so keep the 2 drops and one of the cheaper dragons in you starting hand.
- Don't be greedy with Dragon Speaker. Buffing 2 dragons is good, and buffing only one is perfectly OK.
- If you are low on health, try to combine Zilliax with Nightmare Amalgam or Blessing of Kings.
You can see the deck in action in some of my past broadcasts: https://www.twitch.tv/gaming_catala/videos
Possible card replacements
I have mixed feelings about Rebuke. It can be really good against control, but it's a dead card in other matchups. If you feel the same, I'd test replacing it with a 2nd copy of Dragonmaw Scorcher for increased dragon synergy.
Post your experiences if you try it!
