Hi there!
Here's a deck for this week's brawl utilising Darkest Hour.
The gameplan:
- Start - hard mulligan for Rafaam's Scheme - you're getting it 100% on turn 3, but the bigger it gets fast the better
Keep Sea Giant if you expect aggro, or Mountain Giant if you expect slower deck (allows you to tap and play it turn 4/5 handlock-style)
It's good to keep Alexstrasza - gives you a lethal setup on turn 10
If you go second also look for Darkest Hour - it allows you to coin it out on turn 5 - Turn 1 - you draw Voidcaller, it's best to save it for later
- Turn 2 - you draw Doomsayer, depending on the boardstate and the matchup you can play it immidiately or save for later and tap
- Turn 3 - you draw Rafaam's Scheme - either tap, pass or play Voidcaller+ Doomsayer
- Turn 4/5 - you draw Fiendish Circle, try to stick some minions for Darkest Hour on turn 6, otherwise play Rotten Applebaum or Mountain Giant / Sea Giant
At turn 6 it's either:
- play Darkest Hour and win!
- if you're behind on board, try to stay alive with taunts and rush minions - at turn 9 you're guaranteed a full board with Rafaam's Scheme (7 imps) + Darkest Hour
There are only 4 minions below 7 mana, thus all the minions you're getting from the spell gonna be huge - put all the big taunts, huge rush minions and value generators you got!
Some of them give you some sort of "Plan B", like Mountain Giant, Onyxia or Deathwing ;)
Currently experimenting with Hellfire as the only 4-mana card, quite a lot of aggro decks out there :)
This deck seems weaker than Joybuzz + Maly + Alex wombo-combos, but it's way more fun.
