Hey guys! Fooling around the tavern brawl and decided to put to use the Prince Liam that I had loathed getting to work. It took some tinkering, but with the curve style brawl it works and only 4 cards are required. All of the rest can be substituted as you see fit.
Game plan:
- Hard Mulligan to remove any cards that aren't (1) mana from your hand. (You'll curve into them by drawing them) We want secrets like Redemption, Autodefense Matrix, and maybe a (1) mana mech or divine shield minion.
- Turn 1: Hopefully a mech, Autodefense Matrix, or Redemption
- Turn 2: Upgradeable Framebot
- Turn 3: Bronze Gatekeeper
- Turn 4: Annoy-o-Module
- Turn 5: Prince Liam
Yep, its that simple. If playing Mage, Shaman, or Hunter, do not over invest into magnetize. Play to the right to go wide so you are not weak to Polymorph, Deadly Shot, or Hex among other silences, but they are rare in this brawl. Lay on Hands is completely replaceable. Only in here because it is one of the few epic classic cards I have and all (1) mana minions and spells can be basic set to reduce deck cost. The brawl also puts the (6), (7), (8), (9), and (10) cost legendaries into your hand on those respective turns so it curves into the late game nicely.
A super fun, meme-y deck with a significant and surprising winrate and I got my max daily gold real quick and it was a lot of fun. Definitely a deck worth trying out if you have an otherwise useless Prince Liam laying around and want to get a kick out of Tavern Brawl this week.
wow literally just him as the legend too, very nice and affordable prince liam deck
First time playing this deck it tanked bad. I drew a Warrior. It doesn't seem like you need much talent if you're playing a Rogue or Warrior in this patch. I drew everything but Prince Liam, maybe just a freak draw. I'll let you know if it gets any better.
This deck should not work as well as it does what the heck
Thanks for this, played a mage and he noped right out of the game after Liam dropped.
