I was finding that blood mage thalnos wasn't quite cutting it when it came spell damage and clearing the board, so i tried subbing in pyromancer and it worked really well for a turn 9 board clear, or if you already had pyro on the board, a good turn 7 with Flamestrike. Arcane missile and pyro combo and polymorph pyro are other combos I like to use.

you're main game finishers are antonidas and Rag, although be careful when playing antonidas against priest. It's either best to play him with any low costing spells or secrets. Maly is just another high priority target that your opponent has to deal with, but isn't as important to win games. It's also a really good bluff card if you have 2 or 3 other cards in your hands, some players will attack maly even though they don't have to and will lose games because of it. And who can pass up 8 damage arcane missile, am I right?

When mulliganing, try to go for any 2 drops, especially mad scientist and unstable ghoul to help keep pace.

against mage and priest try to get frost bolt for early mana worm and cleric clears.

Against Zoo or Hunter, Try to get any 2 drops: Mad scientist, or pyromancer, or unstable ghoul and any low costing spells to go along with your pyro, ESPECIALLY arcane blast.
