Sup everybody.

So.. its about time for an elemental mage deck to shine dont you think??

This is my decklist which i played for quite a period this expansion, probably around 200 games atleast, with changes and adjustment and finally hit legend with this version of the deck at around 64% winrate.

This deck is very strong and is a pretty big 'sleeper' among the community  IMO.

Has a very favorable matches against the slower, control decks out there  like cubelock, control-lock, taunt druid, taunt warrior.

It can struggle against aggro sometimes  but you do have early game efficient minions to fight back like the fireflies, tar creepers, and also catch up cards like mind control tech.

As you noticed this deck runs Archmage Arugal along 2 books of specters which add a lot of value to the deck (Archmage Arugal alone is big threat which the opponent would have to deal with as soon as possible if played in the early turns  and can cause them to use valueable resources and lose tempo in the process).

This deck goes with the theme of this expension of having a mostly minion-based deck so i keep the spell count to a minimum by having only the essential spells be a part of it.

The gameplay with this deck is to play mostly on curve with its efficient minions/elementals and use the elemental activation going to make best use of the battlecries.

As far as mulligan  you aim to have spellstone in hand in pretty much all the match ups, as it will easily turn into a 2 mana cabalist tome with the easy requierment of simply playing your minions on curve.   Also  playing leyline manipulator afterwards is an insaaane amount of value.

Leyline manipulator is one of the best cards in the deck , it discounts your flame elementals, your pyros in its bigger forms, your Archmage Arugals' duplicated minions, further discounts glyph's spells,  flame geysers from steam surgers, and on and on..  so yeah, leyline is AMAZING.

So to sum up, my elemental mage is a highly performing deck from my ladder experience, its a lot of FUN!    its unexpected   and it gives mage decks in general a new flavor gameplay experience. 

I'd recommend everyone to give it a shot!  Especially now while the meta is pretty slow and it can prey on the warlocks and hadronox druids ( Never gets old seeing a ressurected sheep from witching hour =)  ).

This is actually my very first post here on hearthpwn so i hope i made it the right way so most people can see and impress for themselves, and most importantly communicate  and ask questions and give feedback!
