I have been really struggling to find a strong Kingsbane rogue. The HSReplay win rate for Kingsbane is very poor compared to top meta decks, as it is very inconsistent. This is the strongest, most consistent rogue deck I have played in wild this season so far. I climbed from 5 to 2 very easily and may push for legend if I have time.
It uses the mill rogue package for card draws and seems to be more reliable than Gadgetzan Auctioneer/sprint when it comes to drawing your dagger and weapon buffs. Well timed shadowsteps with coldlight oracle can burn key cards from your opponent in control vs control match-up's.
Unlike most Kingsbane rogue decks on HSReplay and Hearthpwn, it has double blade flurry, double doomsayer, double vanish, 1 evasion, and double life leech. The game plan is simple, don't even try to maintain board presence with Fal'dorei Strider or Tar'Creeper or eviscerates, let's go all in on board clears.
If you love Kingsbane as much as I do, but hate the win rate, give this a shot! Leeching poison is just as important as Kingsbane and Cavern Shinyfinders in mulligan. The earlier you get this up the more health you get back, easier it is to snowball.
It is very different than traditional mill / Kingsbane / oil rogues, it is arguably the best combination of all three!
Coming from standard, this version already feels like a huge improvement. Sitting on a 67% w/r 10-5 from ranks 13-10. I made some personal changes:
Doomsayer x1 > Backstab
Blade Flurry x1 > Fan of Knives
Evasion > Doomerang
I found having Backstab was nice as an activator for Elven Minstrel on T4 w/o coin or just as cheap removal for something early on. Fan of Knives came in clutch a few times either for the cycle or board clear (sorry dude paladins ^_^). The 2nd copy of Doomerang allowed me to be a little less conservative with my weapon charges, and gave me more sustain-heals while clearing annoying minions. Overall, it's just as you said -- "one of the best combinations of mill, Kingsbane, and oil."
Appreciate the upload! +1
0% winrate vs murlockadins.... is too hard to win vs aggro...
Decided to give it a try.
Swapped evasion for fan of knives because I don't have it..
20 wins, 5 defeats so far...haven't met much aggro so far maybe that's the reason..
-2 Doomsayers +2 Fal'dorei striders?
Hi, did u try this deck? What about winrate?
