um... I don't think it is good at all. it's an 8/6 for 8 which means it'll probably die very quickly. This quick death though let's it use it's deathrattle which is basically "kill all minions on the board unless they have more than 8 hp".
This card has 2 really big problems. If you are winning with board presence then if you play this card you have basically said "If you have 6 damage, then you can wipe out my entire board" which on turn 8-9 they'll probably have some way to deal 6 damage. If you are not winning and need board clear then you play this card and sure you'll probably clear their board with it, but it'll take at least 1 turn till you can attack it and if the enemy doesn't have any single card that will deal enough to kill it then you'd have to waste another turn or more mana/cards to kill your own legendary.
TLDR: either kills your own board, or it's too slow to kill your enemy's board

Freeze Mage is going to LOVE this card. It is basically a board clear for them.
Kind of too slow, can't combo well with a freez same turn you play him...and always at risk of being silenced...
Lol dont say it like that. All cards are bad that way since everythinf can be silenced.
Well I play freez mage a lot, and my Doomsayers usualy get silenced... The deck doesn't have many silence targets so they always have one ready for them. If it had taunt maybe...
But who knows...maybe it works on the new meta.

I feel like people are making the mistake of seeing this as an anti-aggro card with their comments about the opponent rushing face when this seems much more like an anti-control card to me. It's obvious Blizz is pushing with WotOG a control heavy meta with long games and a lot of big minions. This isn't an aggro counter; we'd just use Flamestrike for that. This is a big minion counter.
It's certainly not my favorite class legendary from this set, but it seems like such an interesting card and I'd love to try it.
The Trolden Value is strong in this one.

As mainly a mage player, this is kind of disapointing.
First I want to say: It's a terrible card.
my analysis: the turn you play it will have no immediate effect and the opponent will just go face. and if he's aggro you can't kill him of by trading. that's why you would have to fireball it (therefore the 6 health, I guess-it's possible to go face and fireball it ) or slam it into a medium attack creature and shoot it with a spell to kill it off which would allow higher tempo and placing a minion on the board after the board is cleared (thank god there are not much deathrattles left in standard, in wild this card sucks totally)
It's an interesting card, but mages have flamestrike without prerequisits. It reminds me of flamelance which was often overkill and not being able to shoot it on face made it a worse fireball. For the card to be good opponent minions would have to have massive amounts of hp. if it would damage the opponents hero for 4dmg e.g. it could have been a little less bad.
Synergies: Mainly frost nova
To kill him off yourself: fireball (as mentioned before), frost bolt, blood-mage thalnos - arcane blast (+2dmg hero power :P)
P.S. with the new expansion it seems there are more high health minions. The before mentioned flamelance could be playable/good but transform effects are way way better. Cards like Polymorph and Hex which used to deal with deathrattle will be used on that giant health creatures (I think of druids 4 mana taunt).
