When did they say that?
then shouldn't it read "If your C'Thun has at least 10 Attack (wherever it is), gain 10 Armor.
Yeah...wherever it is. If C'Thun doesn't exist (he is dead) then it probably doesn't work. You may be right, but I highly doubt that's the case.
Noxious mentioned in one of his videos that C'Thun's buff is attached to the player, for example if you use revive and it happens to be C'Thun, he'll still be buffed. So in that case I think that all the C'Thun cards should work even if he's dead.
So far it seemed like the only drawback with C'Thun is how tough it is to stay alive while buffing him with minions that are mediocre by themselves.
But Brann Bronzebeard + Ancient Shieldbearer = 20 armor on turn 9? Thefuck Blizzard?
Turn 9? This combo cost 10 mana (Brann 3 + Ancient Shieldbearer 7)
As was said, that combo is 10 mana.
And you can really say most combos with brann are OP. You ccan potentially have a 4-mana 9/9 with reliquary seeker (had that in a match a few hours ago with seeker from dark peddler), you can have 4/15 Klaxxi or a 4/17 Twilight Drake, you can restore 16 health to your hero for 8 mana with antique healbot, or you could even get a 4/-1 Injured Blademaster (OP, Pls nerf)
You could also deal 40 damage with 20/20 C'thun.
For all the people even considering this card might be OP, think about what happens if C'Thun decks flop. I doubt they will, as the old god theme is strong, and Blizzard would never let the theme of an expansion just be a waste and not be effective until a later expansion right? Right?
[the voice at the back of my head] ~Joust~...
But seriously, warrior is probably the main class that can easily drag the game till turn 10+.
I almost wrote a post about how youre wrong and C'thun decks will be viable and that the reason why other things like dragons wasnt as good was because of shit like dr boom and shredder blah blah blah, but I realize now it's because of your intense double negative.
... I agree with you.
But...you need a C'thun deck.
Yes but for this to be viable you don't need just C'Thun to be on your deck, you need it to be at least 10/10 and for that you require the cards that buff him to that point. Which will take essential cards from the deck itself, Imo it will be used with Shieldmaiden on C'Thun Decks and be a variable like Reno Decks.
If for you not getting hit to the face and having supported under bugeted high mana cards to achive that 10 dmg is no drawback then I won't argue.
Shield Slam was always a dumb spell, I don't see why you're so upset about it now.
