While it may be hard to build a deck with strong synergy with all singles at the moment as more and more expansions come out it definitely can be done. I can see this card being a staple if aggro decks remain strong in the meta.
No, this is going to make mill druid, mill rogue and fatigue warrior really annoying.
It'll be like tree of life, except... you only get the heal and get a 4/6 out of it.
True. However, mill druid and fatigue warrior will be able to use the crap out of this.
You've not played mill druid, have you.
They also tend to put themselves into fatigue, just slower than their opponent. Often times, they both end up fatiguing at the same time or nearly the same time, but the druid wins by using tree of life at the right time.
This would allow you to win the fatigue race much more easily.
Wounder if smorc can recover from this
This is not a gimmick card but a card for fatigue decks - Fatigue warrior is getting more and more tools right now - seems legit if you wanna keep the aggro in their place
How does this card influence the aggro match ups in any way? You either build a tier 5 deck around solely utilizing the battlecry effect running only 1 card copies, or by stabilizing into the late game having used a copy of each dual card in your deck. At which point it's become a win more card anyways.
Mill Druid and Fatigue Warrior will slobber over this card. Can't say the same about Mill Rogue because of how horribly this interacts with Gang Up.
But im curious if you are using blackwing corruptor's battlecry. Do you simply click on the targets twice? And deal 6 damage in total?
All-legendary deck synergy
The Deck of Legends has become New Meta.
The drawback is you have to build your deck around it in a way that sacrifices a lot of key class cards. That, or you'll have to wait very late in the game to play it.
Have you ever watched a good mill druid player? It's unsettling to think of what this card will do for fatigue decks, considering that I hate the mechanic.
Hmm, Highlander decks in Hearthstone? Not on the ladder, but for fun in Casual maybe.
That doesnt seems that hard to trigger. is it the slower meta coming
or will you die before even being able to use it? ;-;
Nice try to bring back fatigue decks. Still they are not playable at current meta cuz they die till turn 8 for face decks
Easily countered by Beneath the Grounds!
Knowing hearthstone mechanics, the ambush cards are probably not checked by this card and wouldn't prevent its trigger
Can anyone confirm this? That Beneath the Grounds won't counter this? That seems absurd. Why play a card game if the rules aren't consistent? I'll be seriously upset if Beneath the Grounds doesn't turn this shit off - or at the very least, if it doesn't turn it off until 2 of the Ambush cards have been drawn. The question is whether or not they're going to be checking the state of the deck based on the "decklist" or based on the actual conditions of the game. In which case, it would be boss if this card could go off even in decks with a few 2-of's, provided 1 of them has been drawn out of the deck.
Anyone have any info on rulings regarding this card? Thanks!
Well, when you add the ambushes to the deck, it says that the deck is larger (like the count went from 20 to 23) so I'm assuming they do count. But Casualstone has a ton of weird rules.
