- This includes any overkill damage that is dealt. If you Shield Slam it for 30 damage, it deals 30 damage. (Source)
Whenever this minion takes damage, also deal that amount to your hero.
After playing against 5 Annoy-O-Trons, any normal guard will become a Wrathguard.

Turn 1: The Coin + Wrathguard
Turn 2: Demonfuse
Turn 3: Get Big Game Hunterd
The best strategy for ensuring your Mal'Ganis stays alive in the late game!
(also a decent target for Void Terror)
Pretty Decent.
Early game with zoo/aggro Lock? Obvious goodness.
Late game with control/hand/demonlock? Cheap combo with Shadowflame. Potential big issue with shield slam but just don't play him if you're expecting heavy removal.
The implicit seems to make him a good candidate for buff cards. Opponent won't want to silence because he's still tough stuff, and his implicit doesn't trigger from hard removal.
I don't think he'll lose you more games than he wins. Possibly against Freeze Mage, I guess.
With cards like Coliseum Manager and Argent Watchman, a self-silence deck with Wailing Soul might be getting some meat to it, and this would be good in it.
Really don't like this card, I just realized that if it's played on turn 2, it's only going to die to something with 3 attack anyway, so it's no different from Flame Imp. Auto include in every zoo deck and it's another card like flame imp, which is OP if you start with it and garbage after turn 4 zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Will be good to the ealy game to zoolocks... But who really liked this card was my control warrior, such a good Shield Slam target!
I am sure this will make at least a few appearances on Trolden.
Wrathguard? Fine, Flame Javelin!
30 Armor Control Warrior Shield Slam' s this.
Actually , i think this can be really good. When you think about it , this guy is a bigger Flame Imp , and Flame Imp is in every Zoo deck.
Mmm... noice!
Also far better than Succubus!
Not from shredder though
in that case you're right!
Interesting card. 2-mana 4/3 drop is undoubtedly very strong in the early game. However, if Wrathgard fails to pop up in your hand until near the end of the game, it can really be your downfall and used against you. It's pretty much a bad draw after the early - mid game, and playing it when the opponent has big minions out on the board is a bad idea. Having this card attacked by a big creature means you lose a minion and probably a fair chunk of your life as well. Unfortunately, I can see Warlocks dying from this Wrathgard being Shield Slammed for 10 damage and so forth.
I still believe this card is very strong and it will see play in certain Warlock decks. At this point in time, it's looking like Zoo is the most likely deck archetype it will be played in.
3 health in a 2 mana minion with also a downside?? Kripp will trash this card in 3... 2... 1...
Blizzard love the word "wrath"
The funny thing is this can and WILL happen from time to time as it can come out of Shredder.
i love this card
Minions always do damage equal to its attack in a moment, so 8/8 dealing always 8 damage even if attacking 1/1 guy, same way in hitting face, you can deal 120 damage on hero but it don't make changes.
Waiting for Trample ability in Hearthstone ^^.
What is Trample?
I haven't played mistress much lately, but I'm absolutely sure that she restores you hp equal to the damage she deals. Same with imp-losion, you can spawn up to 4 imps even from a 1 hp target.
Don't take my word for it though, go ahead and test it out.
IMO the best TGT card revealed so far, will be fantastic in Zoo
