- This includes any overkill damage that is dealt. If you Shield Slam it for 30 damage, it deals 30 damage. (Source)
Whenever this minion takes damage, also deal that amount to your hero.
After playing against 5 Annoy-O-Trons, any normal guard will become a Wrathguard.

Same problem as with the Succubus, a 2 mana 3/2 drop will easy trade into this.
Would've been much better as a 3/4, but oh well. Good enough I guess, pretty interesting card.
Slightly worse than flame imp I think. Its stats are on curve with flame imp, but it can potentially cause more self inflicted damage than flame imp, and is still susceptible to all those 2 mana do three damage spells. I still think it will be played, as being slightly worse than flame imp does not make this a bad card.
Seeing that people always trade with value, you're only looking to take 3 damage in most cases.
If a mage wants to fireball it just so you can take extra damage, fine with me! They just fireball'd a 2 drop lol.
No, they just fireball'd YOUR FACE (where fireballs usually go), and you lose a 2 drop as well.
That makes no sense. If they Fireball my face, my 2 drop is still looking good and ready to smack him for 4 damage.
If a mage Fireballs the Wrathguard, it deals 6 to the Wrathguard and the Wrathguard deals 6 to the Warlock's face.
Ohhhhh I get it now. Brain fart. My bad.
But I guess the fact that it was used on a 2-drop still makes me happy and less cautious to play other minions.
ehmm...but there will be no turn 10 if you playing him.
Probably on the same tier as Flame Imp, it's pretty damn good in my perspective! Same stats as a Succubus, but the drawback on Wrathguard is less significant (in most cases).
30 Damage shield slam trolden PogChamp
Better: 30 Damages Shield Slam on Warthguard after summonned by Piloted Shredder deathrate effect in the same turn PogChamp. The sax is strong with this one.
I predicted we'd have a card like this when Flame Lance was revealed... It doesn't necessarily make Flame Lance amazing, but it does show you how it can be better than Assassinate situationally.
Hate to let you down, but it won't work.
Today was a good day for the Value Town
