Potentially busted in Wild? Malygos Druid will feast. 8 mana will tell if this is oppressive or not.
Unfortunately, for druids, eight mana is easy to come by. Not at all late game. I've seen druids at eight mana while I'm finishing up turn three or four. Eight is nothing.
Sure, but in those cases, is this card actually doing more insane things than they'd otherwise be able to do with that mana? I'm not saying the card is bad or anything, I'm just not sure I agree with calling it highrolling.
Seems tailored specifically to be cast at random from Convoke the Spirits.
I can’t really see it being included in decks
highlights everyone's favorite druid flavor. Ability to high roll bullshit
I'm not sure stuff that happens at turn 8 can be called highrolling to be honest. Even in best case scenarios this card seems weak. Maybe there's a way to cast it way earlier that I'm missing though.
Edit: I guess the Celestial Alignment synergy is scary, but it's also very late in the game by that point.
Ehhhhhh, so many of the bigger minions require you actually play it from hand. And it doesn't produce a copy either, but pulls the original one out.
PERFECT for that extra consistency, pulling Sesselie of the Fae Court
I don't know what kind of deck it's going to be, but flexibility and significant mana cheating combined makes for a recipe for Desaster.
I think there are even better targets than sesselie like Neptulon or Ozumat. If you have location on board and pull ozumat it's clear + board threat
Of course grabbing the Sesselie of the Fae Court lets you discount you Neptulon or Ozumat.
When you're a Druid, Choose One - Play the biggest things; or the smallest ones.
Not sure how to use this off the bat, but it looks like it has potential. it's a nature spell too so it could cost 0.
This is in the "scary but dont know how yet" category
Perfect rating for this card. This will lead to a lot of experimenting, maybe a few crazy highlight clips, but it'll probably not see play outside of fun combo decks
So druid actually doesn't have a lot of cards that are that bad to cast randomly. Also you can choose. So if you're running big spell druid, this pulls a big spell (most of which don't target) and if you're running big minion druid, you can pull a minion (just don't put too many battlecries in your deck).
I think this is cool. Though the Celestial Alignment synergy sucks.
"If you don't have Celestial Alignment in your hand, cast it from your deck, or cast Spreading Plague"
Ah, Nightshade Bud will be good to cast that Alignment I can't draw /j
In all honesty, not sure why Druid got a Rune of the Archmage (one that can buff enemy minions too), but I feel like Nightshade Bud will be a niche card used to pull out certain (combo?) cards equal to or higher cost than it (well, given there's no Alignment discount involved lol).
Ehmmm, the reveal video shows a different card than the post does...?
It was in the reveal video when the reveal card was cast. It's a little bonus.
That I guess Blizzard intended to reveal this way because it's in the card library.
