Control priest needs some more work, but this may slot into a quest deck. Drakonid operative is the prime activator for this, and Brann is the prime target. Since the hardest counter to control is combo, this could actually be useful, especially after a tutor.
Thats a new trend? Every card has spelling from some mentally damaged Kid.
I think this is because some of them are revealed in other languages and proper form isn't out yet
alright i am gonna say something everybody is posting every card reveal...
"alright , its deck intro time"
yeah gimme my upvotes.
atleast its not dull like other leggies this expansion
Unless they make more copy cards, this will only see play in Duels.
I like your card , i think i will take it :D
Did Cards from Southsea Scoundrel count?
yes
Should be counted
So in standard right now, there is Psychic Conjurer, Copycat if they play a minion, Soothsayer's Caravan, Drakonid Operative, and Southsea Scoundrel, plus they revealed Murloc Holmes. You aren't likely to trigger this card's effect more than once or twice anyways so those are plenty of options, especially the discover ones for some targeted deck removal. Perhaps there will be more later in the reveal to make a proper archetype out of thief priest, but I already like this card as a disruption piece.
Copycat won't work because they've already played it. Soothsayer's Caravan doesn't ever live long enough to work here.
So... it's Psychic Conjurer, Drakonid Operative, or get lucky with Murloc Holmes
I mean, you could still steal a particularly powerful two-of from a deck that would really rather keep both copies, so... Copycat is still decent...
What they are saying is that this card actually does not function with Copycat. The original card copied by Copycat is no longer a card because it has already been played. It's now a minion or a weapon or whatever, and those do not count as cards. Because the original is no longer a card, it cannot be stolen by the Harvester.Bounce effects might create an exception, but that's pretty fringe. But in reality, it does work, so Copycat may be the best case of all.
Actually this card steals the minions from the board. The text is just awkward.
I just saw that -- this makes it amazing. If you steal something big with Drakonid Operator you can hold it until your opponent draws and plays it; they you get yours and swipe theirs.
Salt thread is going to blow up over this card
Only if the archetype can win. I'm not convinced it will be any more consistent than any other Thief Priest archetype has ever been.
Is this card fun? yes
is it interesting? yes
will it see play? absolutely not
Finally a interesting mechanic!
