Hard to use, but extremely fun.
also it’s probably riddles, not clues. Please fix blizz
I just had a game where Brilliant Macaw guessed all 3 choices correctly.
Cute but useless in constructed. Nice for arena though
I probably am just petty over the wording and language, but I don't think clues are something you can "solve"
Assuming that the way it works is, that 1st, you are shown 1 card that was in their starting hand, and 2 that are were in their starting deck, and if you guess correctly, you go to the 2nd, where you are shown 1 card that is in their hand, and 2 in their deck, and if you guess correctly, you go to the 3rd, where you are shown 1 card in their deck, and 2 in their hand, and if you get all those right, you get what what you guessed. Hottake, this is going to be easier than it seems. Doesn't mean the card is gonna be good, but I think this will happen way more often than 1/27th of the time. I wouldn't surprised if this sees play alongside Murloc synergies, like Ravager or in a dedicated Murloc deck, particularly if these see play post-rotation.
Tested and verified that this is how it works.
Good to know that my more than month old prediction was correct. :)
I hope this card is a diamond one. It looks pretty cool.
.....Clues?
Any info on what this means? Hard to judge without the details. Worth noting that you can consistently draw this with Ravager.
3 discover like choices, the first you have to guess which card was in their starting hand, then guess what card was in their hand right now, then guess a card in their deck. If all three of those miracles happen you get copies of them.
So its basically 1/3*3, to get 3 cards. Noice
I guess you gain info even if you don't get the cards.
Okay, still hard to say how that works out without knowing the logic behind how cards shown are selected.
My hunch is that it's an okay card if it can give an average of 2 cards. Against many decks you will get bad cards that don't synergize with your strategy, but if you get a lot of them that might still be worthwhile.
Pretty sure you either get all 3 or you get none.
This card is absolutely horrible then.
I wouldn't be too quick to judge. I think this card might not fit in most decks, but I think the fact that it's a murloc makes it runnable in aggro. You usually won't get anything, but from my calculations you'll likely pick all 3 correctly around 33% of the time as long as you have good knowledge of the meta and are paying attention to what cards your opponent is playing. Trump came up with 50%, but I think that's a little on the optimistic side.
If you get the cards, that's a huge swing in card advantage that can easily win you the game, especially in decks without very much draw. Without them, he's still a 3/4 murloc which is definitely playable in those decks.
