fun card im concerned with take their ship being to good while the other options more fun.
Yeah, take their ship in general is the best one by far imo, but there will be situations where the others are good as well.
The idea of the card is really cool. However, I doubt it will see any kind of play. Pirate decks tend to be really aggressive decks and an 8 drop doesn't seem to fit that.
It is still a buff to quest warrior, since you can summon it from The Juggernaut.
I think this is difficult enough to pull off that the pay off for this card's pretty good. Can't imagine Shadowstep staying with this, but maybe we'll see another new bounce effect.
I think at least it's a lot fairer than Tikatus was. If Tikatus was JUST a 1 time 5 mana mill card, it would have been fine. It was when it was burning half your deck I had a problem with it.
The mind control and hand-based effects also look kinda nutty, though.
Wild only player perspective, but i feel like if you wanted to mess with the enemy you could make a disruption deck that does it better or more consistently than this, but idk maybe that would lack the aggression and pressure of a pirate deck. For standard tho i have no clue haha this might be crazy strong lol
Sloppy card design at its finest!
Fun and interactive to lose cards from your deck with no ability to counter. Similar to tickatus, glide, and that warlock card that burns three of your opponents.
Spend all this time crafting a deck around one card, say Kazuksan, and just like that you lose it with no ability to counter. Not a fan of this type of card.
Best case scenario: Round 2 of Tickatus cause everyone loved that card so much
Worst case scenario: 8/8 of stats the Juggernaut can pull. 8+6 to face same turn if you have Smite in hand.
Just why?
I read somewhere that "This is how Kazakusan should have been" play OR SUMMON 8 dragons to get the non-sense effect and i totally agree. Hope team5 learns from it.
First of all, this is summoned not played, that can be a really big difference.
Second of all, the average dragon is 7 mana, a Kazakusan like that would be unplayable. For comparison, the average pirate is 3 mana, being the most expensive Mr. Smite which is cheaper than the average dragon.
Sorry, let me edit this cus i keep writing play not summon for whatever reason, im too excited with the card lol, as for kaz you can just print cheaper dragons or lower the requirement , this is not an excuse to me.
There you go...
last thing, the problem with kaz is not kaz, the problem is druid ramping the crap out and playing it on turn 4-5. Kazakusan isn't an issue on classes that can't cheat it out earlier.
I totally disagree, Kaz problem is the design philosophy , the card is clearly overpushed and dont belongs to HS. I hope this abomination of card it's not going to be good anymore but that doens't mean it will stop being a horrible design imo.
There is no middle ground with cards like this, it's either completely garbage or completely broken
shadowstep on this.
rogue has many counter cards
we don't know if we have shadowstep, i tend to think not, it's been in game since forever.
You're thinking small, Brann + Shadowcaster on this
Ahhh this makes sense now! Azsharan Vessel
Imagine stealing your opponent's Hooktusk
Love the flavor of card like this, interesting mechanic at least even though it doesnt look strong at first look. And I’m tired of seeing support for Tempo/Miracle Rogue. I know the class is not yet good for late games, but it needs to explore support like this. Tempo/Miracle seems to be Rogue only well-know archetype for the past 7 years…..
