Balance Changes Coming Next Thursday July 15th
Blizzard is planning some balance changes for next week, specifically to Priest and Druid. We should learn about these changes next Wednesday with some patch notes and should see them go live the next day.
We're expecting to have patch notes up for these changes on Wednesday. https://t.co/G9Q2agk7DD

Ok , that's your opinion and tbh i could not care less about it.
Can you tell how to nerf Gibberling except making it 2 mana? Is there even another way?
I cant see these brainless board flooding druids anymore.
Soul of the Forest needs to move away.
Update:
- Priest removed from Classes, replaced by Monk
Didn't learn from the last time a new class was added did you
That's actually not even close to true. What Blizzard has said is that: a) it DOES consider balance in Wild when creating cards but b) that the threshold for balancing wild is higher. But there have been several nerfs specifically because of balance issues in wild, most recently Hysteria, which was done due to the Wretched Tiller disaster.
Yeah, they said that, though it doesn't seem to be true at all (e.g recent example of Stealer of Souls)
That's just not a good argument....like....at all. Pure quantity of Discover cards means absolutely nothing because you can't judge their validity in a vacuum. There are far too many other variables which feed into the effectiveness of the Discover mechanic depending on the class.
You're well right. Recently I tried making a Discover-focused Hunter (Wild) and it turned out pretty bad, no matter what cards were in. It had no synergy at all among the discovered cards, and most of them are very weak to win on their own. It was fun, tho, could make a lot of unexpected plays, but it was all luck, and luck plays on both sides.
I did tried a mage version, too. I think it's a little stronger, but I prefer the hunter playstyle, so didn't went forth with it.
Also remember that Discover is just a much weaker mechanic in Wild because of the much bigger card pool.
I wasn't trying to judge their validity, effectiveness or power level. People always say that Priest has the most Discover effects and the most random generation. I didn't go into random generation but looked strictly at Discover to illustrate that it isn't Priest's identity as many people claim it to be.
Apologies for not making that clear.
I'm surprised that people seem to think Token Druid will be the main target. Strong as that deck is, at least there is interaction.
To me, "non-games in Druid" refers to Primordial Ramp, which is basically impossible to interact with until they start playing the minions, at which point it's too late. You don't even have time to eat the Primordial Protector with Mutanus in most of these non-games. This makes it an extremely polarized list that nearly always loses to aggro and nearly always beats most everything else. In other words, very unhealthy.
Survival of the Fittest Omega Broken with Carnival Clown and if they ever is a minion stuck on the board with an upcoming 10/10 Strongman or maybe 2 and if u remove it, the board will still be flood 8/8 clowns well if try to control u have got answer after answer after answer Because all there minions Really B.I.G. I really hate the deck
It might be some buffs. To be honest I'd like to see Priest class completely changed.
Sounds like i have 2000+ dust coming my way :D
Apotheosis only gives 1/3
Renew to 2 mana
GIbberling to 2 mana
Remember this comment.
I'll gladly remember how wrong you were. They'll never make Gibberling 2 Mana. I highly doubt they'll even touch the card.
All of you feel stupid now I`m sure :) not perfect because of apotheosis 1/2 but basically got it all
At this point Control Priest is the only somewhat viable non-aggro deck in standard and they are nerfing it even further... Why?
Look, I understand arguments about "unfun experience" (and I kinda agree with some of them), but I can say pretty much the same about dying to 3-4 copies of Illidari Inquisitor or unblockable burst damage from off-board dealt by Elemental / Doom Shaman, but those decks remain unchanged for some reason. It's simply unfair to control players and also boring, when all meta is aggro / tempo.
Maybe because you can play around illidari inquisitor. By healing not random healing from random card generation.
What is the counterplay of renew into random perfect answer?
