Hearthstone Patch 7835 Official Notes
The patch we datamined last week is now live! The Lunar Card Back is in the client for the end of this season, and there's some nice improvements to spectator mode.
Additionally, there's a new summoning animation for V-07-TR-0N via Mimiron's Head!
Quote from BlizzardGeneral
- The following card backs have been added to Hearthstone:
- Lunar Card Back: Acquired by reaching Rank 20 or higher in Ranked Play mode during the month of February.
- When a match you are spectating ends, your client will be put into a waiting state until your friend joins another match. You’ll automatically connect to their next match without having to re-enable Spectator Mode. How convenient!
- Mimiron's Head has an AWESOME new play animation. Go ahead, push the big red button!
- [iPad/Android] You should no longer see the “You have been disconnected” message when you start up the game.
- [iPad/Android] The in-game friend’s list should now open much faster.
Bug Fixes
- Players will now continue to spectate a match even after 30 minutes of inactivity.
- Cogmaster has taken a break from constructing mechanical menaces and has given himself a tune-up! His attack will now properly increase when a Mech is in play, even after his Attack and Health stats have been swapped.
Some Megazord kinda thing, cool.
Animation looks fun!
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSION-HA
photoshop test dummy and mech warper pl0x
That animation is very anime-esque. I can't imagine ever seeing this happen though hahaha.
Did it on the first try!
I can't rule out that the other player just wanted to see the show as well though (it was in casual after all... because there's no way I'm trying this in ranked yet). I've actually been working on this deck, mostly for entertainment value, since GvG came out. I can pull off the transformation about once every three or four games. It's really fun, if not consistent.
That actually sounds pretty fun! I don't think it's that hard to pull off, but just hard enough that I'll never see it in ranked. I don't play casual very often anymore hahaha if I did I would likely encounter Voltron <3
I only play casual to blow off steam with stuff like this, or to try to get in a daily when I know I'm going to have to do twelve other things at the same time.
I cannot recommend playing goofy decks in casual highly enough. The grind past rank 5 can get a little tedious, to say the least. A little mindless fun always reminds me why I like this game again.
I actually made a list for the Mimiron's Head deck so a couple friends could try it out this weekend. It's here if anyone else wants to give it a try. Tip: if at all possible, use the "piloted" minions as the sacrificial mechs for maximum comic effect.
Nothing I don't love about this
The new Voltron animation is no doubt awesome, though I was hoping for something a little more... "bone chilling." It would've been cool to see the board darken like the lightning filled skies in the card's artwork. His old summoning music was a lot more ominous too, which already seemed perfect for activating such a powerful game ending minion.

That animation is GLORIOUS! I'm so glad I've hung onto him this long (Mimiron's Head was my first GvG legendary).
Unfortunately, it won't make V-07-TR-0N any easier to pull off, but I'll be trying even harder now. Honestly, I have had some success with it, but consistent it is not.
Yeah, buff cogmaster, that'll help the mech mage problem :D
Cogmaster is not the reason of the mech mage problem.
Edit: If mech mage is a problem at all
This is just a bug fix... He now works the same way every other buffing minion of this type works...
That animation is going to wreck old/underpowered devices.
Yea pentium 2 users, be careful.
Exodia? oO
So nice :D
me too
Hey Twisting Nether! Someone's taken your place for the best animation in the game!
Check out the awesome new Mimiron's Head Animation.
