Attacking isn't even remotely close to a big setup, what on earth are you talking about? All they need to do is print a 1-mana weapon in the next two years and literally every shaman deck will want to run this. And Shaman has had 1 mana weapons before. Hell, they don't even need that, they just need to add a good card that gives your hero attack.
needs 1 or two more weapons to be good
enhancement shaman letsgo!!!
these are the cards that impact the meta and ppl underestimate. turn 2 2×3/2 means rule early turns
You can only get it active at turn 2 by using the coin at the moment, so, unless a new weapon gets added ( which is probable, but still ) then odds are you won't get that starter that often...
Actually no, you can also activate it on turn 2 with lightning bloom. This card is bonkers.
using a bloom for a 2/3 seems like a waste
when you equip a weapon but forgot attacking first:
"mission failed, we'll get 'em next time"
Pretty much the only upside for now (before other reveals) is that it can be recycled with Diligent Notetaker , and count for "if cast a spell last turn" , otherwise, doesn't fit the class imo.
Maybe next year's Basic Set will change/reduce Rockbiter Weapon to a cheaper card, like they did with priest basic cards, possibly making it a self-buff only.
Can people chill? We didn't see all shaman cards yet.
This card is great in hyper-aggro that can happend if shaman gets a 1 mana weapon. That's 2 mana 6/4 ffs.
Remember when people laughed at Gibberling? Now hyper-aggro druid is such a headache in wild(If I draw that 0 mana bs card that gives everything +2/+2 I win no matter how good you drawn control player). Remember Pen Flinger and how people said it will be weak? It was so op in Darkglare Warlock and now in raza priest. Remember when people cried their as* about how paladin is so weak but still got so weak cards in Scholomance, yet paladin is tier 1 now? Just chill.
Even with a new shiny 1 mana weapon this would be bad. 2 3/2 in todays meta is worth nothing. If it would be 5/4 and would cost 4 mana? Sure. But not this early in the game with a condition.
The only viable early aoe now is Breath of the Infinite, and Defile in wild.
Even Shaman(even tho not the best deck in wild for sure, but still exists) is made out of 0/2 totems. Those at least can attack. Underestimating early dmg is not a good idea.
Saying that this card would be good if Shaman had good cards isn't an argument. Shaman has terrible cards and has been bad for the past 4 sets. This won't fix it.
2 3/2s for 2 mana is not bad. If you force an AoE card with a 2 drop then you've forced your opponent to react. That's valuable. It means when you play more stuff, maybe they don't have the AoE to deal with it because they used it on your 2 drop.
why this card doesnt say "for every attack your hero has done this turn, summon one more"?
shaman have the doom hammer with windfury, could've made it even better imo
Trash? 2 Mana 3/2 is vanilla but pretty bad nowadays and for the effect to trigger you need to attack. For demon hunter or druid it would be ok but for shaman? You need a weapon for it and even then its 2 3/2 that can die to the most aoe in game. 2/3 would be better. And the valor of this screams more "Warrior" than shaman... all in all a bad card. And it is epic for what reason???
PLEASE NERF
its so bad... I hope this is a joke comment.
Obviously it was, do you really need to have that told to you
meeeeh... 4/10
