Yes the card is not good, but it IS Shaman. They said in the announcement stuff that they are trying to bring in the flavor of a class from the game to here, and that fits for Enhancement Shaman. So yes it is a shaman card, just not a Hearthstone Shaman card
When is Shaman attacking? What is going on with this class?
trash meta rs
The comments are spot on, it doesnt feel like a shaman card the flavour is so off. Without the colour it looks paladin or warrior card
Talking about the card, the text is confusing, if you hero attacks twice will summon 3 or just 2?. Still doesnt look very strong
If Shaman gets a playable 1-mana weapon, this card becomes autoinclude.
Oh my god. They've just completely given up on flavour this expansion. If you made a card like this and called it "Deathmatch Pavillion" in any custom hearthstone card community, they'd laugh at you and call you an idiot. It doesn't even summon elemental tokens or anything, they're "duelists". What does "Deathmatch Pavillion" have to do with shaman??? This could be a card for any class.
hyped for the 2021 Stormforged Axe meta.
I mean it's a great card that makes aggro shaman a lot better and it's a cheap spell you can play to activate spell effects.
Like the fact that this isnt reactive is great. I just dunno what weapons shaman is running right now.
1/5 stars for an "Epic".
If it had rush - 2.5/5 stars.
2 health is removable way to easy. Maybe stat change from 3/2 to 2/3 would give some weight to it.
The rarity is meaningless for the card's power.
Rush would make this broken as hell. 2 mana deal 6 would be very powerful on top of a lot of the other removal tools Shaman has right now. 2 health doesn't sound like very much... but it costs 2 mana. I dunno why everyone expects a 2 mana spell to be super high impact and summon a bunch of minions that are going to stick on the board.
The worst thing about the card is it's kind of awkward to activate right now because most Shaman weapons are expensive. The best synergy is in a spell Shaman deck with Rune Dagger (which improves the card's consistency and lets spell shaman play for board) or in a totem/token shaman deck with splitting axe. But I have to assume another shaman weapon is on it's way.
Exactly! The activation cost frustrates me as well. It's not that we need a weapon per say, we just need damage on hero, example would be "Rockbiter Weapon". Maybe some card will have similar effect, e.g.:
1 mana 1/2
Battlecry: Gain +2 attack on friendly character this turn.
Overload(1)
I agree that rarity has no effect on power, but it sure does gives crap feeling when you draw out crap epic out of the booster :(
Priests "Sethekk Veilweaver" comes to mind as a good epic card for its price. 2 mana card.
This card is sooo bad, my god I want to be wrong but this is unplayable until they print a 0-cost weapon or just change its text with anything else rather than “attack with a weapon”. I’m having Cryostasis PTSD right now.
What? The card says attacked, not attacked with weapon. It works with any effect that gives you attack, such as rockbiter or whatever.
Thank you shaman for getting this card and not DH
This will fuel a new form of Aggro Shaman, just wait.
One small change will make this shaman flavoured instantly: change the attack requirement to "if you have overloaded mana crystals" and boom, shaman
if you have overload you still cant play it before turn 3 at which point this card is mediocre to bad
Summoning 2 3/2s for 2 mana is bad on turn 3? You obviously know nothing.
yes it is, in 2020 it is mediocre in turn 3, bad and terrible after turn 3
it would have been accatable in around... 2017, but since then the powerlevel is off the chart, paladin has a 3/5 in turn 2 that can attack, a 4/2 divine shield in turn 3, demonhunter has a 3 mana 3 damage boardclear etc etc
yeah I mean it's not like 2 3/2s can trade evenly with a 4/2 divine shield or anything. you're right. fucking terrible card.
