Bro, standard tempo would have been 5 mana 5/6(or 6/5), and that's still unplayably slow. That said, this card is great though.
Well flark me!
Thats what you guys get for whining about agro. Cheers :P
Odd Paladin just got 1600 dust more expensive...
But it's probably good enough in Standard as well. Keep in mind that it says "whenever you summon a Silver Hand Recruit", and isn't limited to the hero power. Any card that summons a bunch of Silver Hands gets significantly stronger, and having a sticky target on board makes buff spells so much stronger.
Maybe it's a bit slow, but it's a big push for the lategame. Any damage-based removal will struggle with it and trading will get awkward. I think it's even more impactful than Goru the Mightree.
Gross
if I remember correctly , Even Paladin NPC who are in that mission also act like...."wtf is this??, A light Dreadlord??"
Seems slow, but a lot of fun. Keep in mind that this doesn't specify SHRs summoned from your Hero Power. Just SHRs in general!
Bolvar, Fireblood smiles from his grave
This is gonna be sick in Odd pally
Might be too slow for that kind of deck, which already has better tools
How is 5 mana 5/5 slow ?! Have you ever played odd paladin in wild
Now Blizzard can introduce Divine Shield synergy cards such as
"Remove a random friendly Divine Shield to..."
Or even some OTK combos that require more than 1 Divine Shield,
"Remove 2 friendly Divine Shields to deal 4 damage to all enemies"
The last time I saw a legendary minions support Silver Hand Recruits really well, Un’goro belonged to the Titans.
Whether good or not, really love the effect that feels truly legendary.
Wild Odd Paladin for sure.. seems kind of slow, but it’s still 5/5 body.. it’ll make them so hard to keep cleared for your follow up turns
I'm not elbow deep into Warcraft lore, but aren't paladins supposed to be the polar opposite of demons? I can't remember any evil overlords in shiny bright yellow armor from the time I played WoW lol.
Actually, I haven't played WoW before but I know that Lothraxion the Redeemed or Lothraxion has been a Paladin before.
"Like every other Nathrezim, Lothraxion was among his kind that joined the Legion. However, at some point, a number of Nathrezim, including Lothraxion himself, were infused by the light and freed from their demonic corruption. Now seeking his path to redemption, Lothraxion and his freed kin joined the Army of the Light" -Wowwiki
He can be found in the paladin class order hall, and also on the Vindicaar on Argus.
nice. This card made me think in continue the game. But still no preorder
I would suggest you ask YouTube about Paladin Ordel hall in WoW Legion, they had it nicely explained why it is not his case.
Looks like N'zoth paladin might not actually be a meme. We have a 6/6 taunt elemental, a 5/5 or 8/8 taunt divine shield mech, and now a 5/5. Sure this is the least important part of the N'zoth turn, but free stats are free stats, and there is a bit of synergy in how both cards want to play the long game. Here's hoping paladin get some weird beast in this set too, and things might happen.
