These cards have less flavor than fan made cards. Why is this a mage spell?
This will fit into No Minion Mage as well as other Mage decks honestly. Probably won't be played Uncorrupted unless you are desperate, but Mage has ways of generating cards and can sit on some for a while.
Glad we're putting more slot machines in the casino.
I don't get the flavor of this one. Why would one get secrets after playing ring toss? The card is great, the art is great, but what's the flavor?
They're prizes!
Kinda meh, but makes sense.
But they're not. You don't have to do anything to "earn" the "prize". You just get a secret or two. You could call this card some generic garbage like "Ancient Knowledge" and it'd make exactly the same amount of sense.
You throw some rings, and you earn the prizes. What are the prizes they give you? Who knows! They're a mystery! Wait, no. Not a mystery. A secret! Two secrets, if you get the rings on the weird mutant turtle.
Look, I know it's a reach. The flavor for most of this set really doesn't make much sense to me either. Why would a carousel gryphon have divine shield? Why would it gain taunt? Why do trolls on stilts make Demon Hunters hit harder? I have no idea. But this one I can at least make a case for.
I love this card the question is how do we corrupt it and how easy will it be to do so
You replace the base copy with the corrupted version after you play a card that costs more mana, so for this one you just need to play a five mana card and then you get two secrets
I like that card but I don't really see the flavor
The card is terrible if unupgraded. If upgraded it's good...unless you're discovering secrets you already have up, forcing you to take bad choices.
Oh, so cute!
WTH IS THIS THING?
Aw, looks like we're not getting anymore dual-class cards. I was hoping for them to become something like Rush did, but with all of these cards being revealed it's looking like they're going to be Scholomance exclusive.
dual class is a really cool concept, I hope print more in the next few sets
Spell mage you said? Fly my albatrosses, fly!
I'm down for secret stuff.
As some people have mentioned, C'thun and pure spell mage looks like it could be pretty good this expansion, and getting more value out of every card you put in the deck will be important. So, two secrets in one card is nice.
Also, corrupted turtle looks a bit like Gary the snail...
in C'thun Spell mage. Incanters flow for a 3mana Ring toss.
Are there card effects that interact with rares/epics? The only card-rarity gameplay mechanics I've ever seen are things like Dragon's Hoard or Brightwing, which are specifically Legendaries. I could be missing something, but if not, I don't see why rare versus epic matters.
Cost of crafting in comparisson with Arcane Keysmith ... I do care about that being a f2p player...
