Nope, the wording is correct. "Your hand, (your) deck and (your) battlefield" With your logic, would you think it buffs your opponent's deck as well?
Except it doesn't.
Is this honestly where we are with our education system right now....?
English isn't everyone's native language
My friend, if you want to insult people by implying the education system failed them at least make sure you're correct.
The wording "Give all minions in your hand, deck and battlefield +4/+4" only has one adjective in the part where it's listing the conditions. You know, adjectives like "your" or articles "the" or "a". Because it only has one, that one applies to all the items listed.
"Your hand, deck and battlefield" means "your hand, your deck and your battlefield". You pretty much only leave out adjectives if the previous one still applies to the next word(s) as well, to avoid repeating words.
If you wanted to refer to the entire battlefield, the correct wording would be "Give all minions in your hand, deck and the battlefield +4/+4". Hence, you are wrong. If their educational system failed anyone here, it's you.
What the hell are you talking about? I literally agree with everything about the card's wording and effect.
So "my friend" if you want to act all pompously smart, at least get your head out of your ass for 2 seconds and read the posts correctly before making a fool out of yourself.
Cheers.
Well, Broomstick certainly explains why Dragonqueen Alex und Rogue Galakrond had to be nerfed... Just imagine Alex into two big dragons into Broomstick on turn 10....
druid's Ysera still exists
Those dragons don't come down the turn you play ysera.
Turn 5 Lightning Bloom x2 + Kael'thas Sunstrider + Glowfly Swarm into 2 cheap spells (like Nature Studies / Crystal Power /Moonfire) + Natural Selection
Enjoy ~
Spitefull tech. Not sure if u want to run him in spitefull. Druid has much better cards avalible.
Broom in nice.
That is one slow Druid card.
Taunt Druid maybe. Otherwise more shuffling cards are called for.
Kael'thas
Ysiel, maybe !? i ve been waiting for a chance to play her a little.
Ratings based on overall quality, not the quality of the deck it goes in
Broomstick - 3/5
It's got potential to be great in the decks that it works in, but I don't think it can just be slotted casually into anything, it's purely a combo card for control decks to make big plays while also dealing with the enemy board, so its strength will be judged exclusively on the strength of those combos (deep freeze, power of creation, dragonqueen alex, lackey flooding, etc)
In particular I can see this being really good in a token embiggen druid (that deck might also run Natural Selection) so you can flood the board, give it rush, and set up for lethal while keeping yourself alive.
Natural Selection - 4/5
Same deal, great in the deck that it's good in, but too expensive to be slotted into just ANY druid deck. I'm bumping it up one because I think it has more flexibility than people are giving it credit for.
For example, people are obviously saying ramp druid, but ramp druid already runs big minions so this is almost overkill in that deck, though it CAN work in that deck because despite being 10 mana, ramp druid is likely casting this on turn 6 or 7, and turn 6/7 do nothing isn't nearly as bad. It's also important to note that the new druid spell Nature Studies can discount this by one, so if it's the last spell you cast in a turn, you can play this for 9 mana on the following turn, then innervate/Lightning Bloom into a large minion.
But once again I'm going to go ahead and predict that token druid is where this will shine.
You've got your already established Kaelthas combos, flood the board, buff the board, etc, but going back to my point on Nature Studies, if you make this cost 9, then on your next turn you can play this for 9 and follow it up with a buffed 5/5 Squirrel, say from Acornbearer, with an innervate you can play the second 5/5 squirrel, or you could innervate into a 2-drop such as Crystal Merchant (which at this point would be a 5/8).
There's definitely potential there, but I think it will all depend on how fast the meta is.
If natural selection is good, it will be too good and get nerfed.
that Broom is gonna make taunt druid in wild semi viable
I... kinda don't get the hype for the Broomstick. It's not terrible, 1/1 rush is OK, but like, Rocket Augmerchant isn't seeing play. Rocket Boots didn't, and Charge hasn't since way back in the day when it granted actual-charge.
Broomstick seems a bit better than the old options. I won't be surprised to see it find it's way into decks that pre-buff minions before they're played (seems solid with Imprisoned Scrap Imp, for example). Might work in any basic aggro/zoo sort of deck. But like... in need of a nerf?
As Flava Flav has said: Don't believe the Hype.
It's really important to keep in mind that giving A minion rush is MUCH worse than giving ALL your minions rush, for only 1 mana. Combo this with Dragonqueen alex dragons, highlander mage can combo it with both Deep Freeze and Power of Creation, rogue can combo it with with a board full of lackeys and the 2-drops the lackeys summoned to deal with aggressive boards, (combine that the spoiled Wretched Tutor, and highlander rogue might actually have enough control tools to beat aggro consistently).
Point being it's not great in a vacuum, but I can easily see it being incredibly good in decks that either summon a lot of small minions reliably, or 2-3 medium-large minions at a time.
It's good in any deathrattle deck, specially in deathrattle Priest if it's ever a thing (since it's the only class with so many dynamics for cloning things), it's good in self damage warlock, with enrage minions... It's pretty good I think.
Dragonqueen dragons are crippled. You're not comboing a 12 mana combo.
