17.6 Balance Updates - Many Nerfs planned for July 14th!
Blizzard just posted about some huge, widesweeping nerfs that are going to happen to the game next week, on July 14th.

Dragonqueen Alexstrasza
Old: Battlecry: If your deck has no duplicates, add 2 other random Dragons to your hand. They cost (0). → New: Battlecry: If your deck has no duplicates, add 2 other random Dragons to your hand. They cost (1).
Corsair Cache
Old: Draw a weapon. Give it +1/+1. → New: Draw a weapon. Give it +1 Durability.
Metamorphosis
Old: Swap your Hero Power to “Deal 5 damage.” After 2 uses, swap it back. → New: Swap your Hero Power to “Deal 4 damage.” After 2 uses, swap it back.
Kayn Sunfury
Old: 3 Attack, 5 Health → New: 3 Attack, 4 Health.
Warglaives of Azzinoth
Old: [Cost 5] → New: [Cost 6].
Dragoncaster
Old: [Cost 6] → New: [Cost 7].
Fungal Fortunes
Old: [Cost 2] → New: [Cost 3].
Galakrond, the Nightmare
Old: Battlecry: Draw 1 card. It costs (0). → New: Battlecry: Draw 1 card. It costs (1).
Galakrond, the Apocalypse (Rogue)
Old: Battlecry: Draw 2 cards. It costs (0). → New: Battlecry: Draw 2 cards. They cost (1).
Galakrond, Azeroth's End (Rogue)
Old: Battlecry: Draw 4 cards. It costs (0). → New: Battlecry: Draw 4 cards. They cost (1).

I'm ok with the changes, and I say this as a Rogue Galakrond player. Finally a little refresh for the meta. Now the enemy to beat is Pirate/Bomb Warrior.
wow... out of all the decks it looks like blizzard really can't stand the idea of highlander demon hunter... well screw you blizzard

Play Gallakrond -> Get 2 1-mana shadow steps and 2 1-mana backstabs...... opponent auto concedes
Damm, I hope they will unnerf Alex someday. I like rest of the nerfs though.
For me the 2 manas spell druid is not a problem, only work in a very niche deck, the card needed to be nerfed to oblivion is the 4 manas get 2 Crystal without any condition, this is the card put druid in top tier 1 alone, remove that and can leave all other cards alone.
Well, that's one way to storm the Bastille.
This is not a balance, it's a mess!
rogue is literally unplayable now. lol
If they remove all possibilities to draw 0 cost cards,maybe they also nerf f*k**g warlock who draw 0 cost malygos (after quest of course, which can be finish at turn 6) and kill everybody in 1 turn. Galakrond Rogue has not high win rate to be nerfed. Also i think that DH hero power that deal 5 dmg are not OP, but i agree about weapone..

My bet is that Blizzard will have to nerf DH again, even after this.
For me this is one of the best nerf pack, I've ever seen in Hearthstone. This should shake meta a bit.

Arena was my favorite place to be in Hearthstone. Now most hatred place. Because all broken cards to be played all over again. No skill cap no thinking. Just draw insane and win. That's it.
You could win with tempo in the past. Now you will be tempo swinged like triple times. Horrifying game mode man.
yes please nerf mage, they were too OP ....
As I said before, Mage's nerf is quite tricky. Think it step by step:
Druid:
Fungal won't we always so safe at turn 3, and ALSO, you won't be able to have this curve as consistently:
2) Fungal 3) Overgrowth (w/coin) 4) Overgrowth = Turn 5 with 9 mana
You'll probably get that curve at turn 6 best case scenario, most of the times at 7 or 8. And guess what that means? You get destroyed with Dragoncaster + Power of Creation. 100% lost every time your opponent has it..
Demon Hunter:
You won't be able to have your Warglaives at turn 5, so, at turn 6, nothing to do against that Dragoncaster with Power of creation or Deep Freeze. 100% lost every time your opponent has it.
Rogue:
You won't be able to throw Galakrond and get that Kronx or Saps. Result? Yes. 100% lost every time your opponent has it.
They nerfed not because it's strong right now, but because it'd be BROKEN after these nerfs.
One card only played as a singleton in certain highlander decks nerfed by 1 mana. I think you'll survive...
I like what I see...I really like what I see. Big up blizzard and big up myself.
Warglaives of Azzinoth kayn and meta??They try to push dh to a control archetype but they gave us pretty bad late game cards.Mage, priest and rogue are better at late game, if they dont hit them hard, control dh never gonna work.
Dragonqueen Alexstrasza took a big hit too and Fungal Fortunes doesnt curve well now.
They try to find a way to nerf Galakrond, the Nightmare sure...if new expansion make him top tier they gonna renerf it for sure.
Dragoncaster and Corsair Cache nerfs are just irrelevant because mage is F tier deck, and corsair cache is good for the draw effect, stats doesnt really matter.
my only guess is that the new set will suck so hard, that they had to nerf the existing meta, so people would buy it.
