17.6 Balance Updates - Many Nerfs planned for July 14th!
Blizzard just posted about some huge, widesweeping nerfs that are going to happen to the game next week, on July 14th.

Dragonqueen Alexstrasza
Old: Battlecry: If your deck has no duplicates, add 2 other random Dragons to your hand. They cost (0). → New: Battlecry: If your deck has no duplicates, add 2 other random Dragons to your hand. They cost (1).
Corsair Cache
Old: Draw a weapon. Give it +1/+1. → New: Draw a weapon. Give it +1 Durability.
Metamorphosis
Old: Swap your Hero Power to “Deal 5 damage.” After 2 uses, swap it back. → New: Swap your Hero Power to “Deal 4 damage.” After 2 uses, swap it back.
Kayn Sunfury
Old: 3 Attack, 5 Health → New: 3 Attack, 4 Health.
Warglaives of Azzinoth
Old: [Cost 5] → New: [Cost 6].
Dragoncaster
Old: [Cost 6] → New: [Cost 7].
Fungal Fortunes
Old: [Cost 2] → New: [Cost 3].
Galakrond, the Nightmare
Old: Battlecry: Draw 1 card. It costs (0). → New: Battlecry: Draw 1 card. It costs (1).
Galakrond, the Apocalypse (Rogue)
Old: Battlecry: Draw 2 cards. It costs (0). → New: Battlecry: Draw 2 cards. They cost (1).
Galakrond, Azeroth's End (Rogue)
Old: Battlecry: Draw 4 cards. It costs (0). → New: Battlecry: Draw 4 cards. They cost (1).

The king krush summoned by Brann. I thought it was clear, clearly it didn't lol. But yeah, it'd be more consistent to make it summon a "beast" instead of a "King Krush".
Thanks, mate. That wasn't something I thought was That problematic, it feels to me 3rd turn x/3 weapons to be more of a problem than the x itself.
Then again, of all warriors bomb weapon being drawn into 3rd turn w/coin, then acidic it just to it corsair'ed back and on curve... now that's really disgusting. With cache at +1 mana it couldn't happen, and that was my point. I guess I took the wrong angle.
Most of the times stat nerfs tend to need some analysis, unlike cost nerfs which they're pretty clear. Remember when they nerfed Faceless Corruptor? People thought it wasn't enough. But it clearly showed it was. Being able to trade with efficiency tends to be HUGE in most of the games. Sure, we can argue that there are other problems and that certain interactions are very strong (like putting 3 bombs in your deck)... But most of the times, your opponent won't draw those bombs. Most of the times you won't get the lackey you need, or the pirate you need. In those times, is when being able to do some nice trades or sm0rc to the face will give you the game.
hmm, not gonna lie last few waves of nerfs gave me tons of dust, i smell around 10k from this wave alone

Druid and Warrior are about to turn into nightmare classes. Guess we will see more Priests to counter it.
That's probably why Blizzard decided to nerf their cards as well. I'm actually more afraid of Highlander Hunter now.
Agreed. Highlander Hunter and Murloc Paladin will dominate the meta for a few weeks until they decide to nerf them.
Finally rogue nerfs, 3 rows in the meta..
if nerf rogue galakrond then it should be :draw a card it costs 5 less. that way it is always good you can now get 1 mana backstab. + you dont know what you draw.
another weird nerf is fungal fortunes. if you nerfing this card you should nerf book of spectres as well. and i dont thin fungal fortunes need nerf but book does.
metamorphoses now should be buffed to 4 mana as well when it does 4 dmg only. wild player aproves.
and we need fix to odd dh in wild: battlefiend: 1 mana 1/3. if your hero attacked gain +1 attack.
beaming sidekick +1 health buff instead of +2 health.
lowly squire. inspire :gain +1 attack until start of your turn.
hench clan thug: if your hero attacked gain +2 attack until end of the turn.
satyr overseer: 3/2 after your hero attacks summon 2/1 satyr with rush.
heropwer: gain +1 attack or give your weapon +1 attack if you have 1. 2 attack upgraded heropower.
Odd Demon Hunter is dead
Excelent nerfs. I guess rogue nerfs were in response to the other nerfs, since it'd be OP. Also, I think that this deck rewarded RNG more than I like. Pretty similar to Pre-first nerf Alex. If you got lucky, 100% winrate.
The hard one to see is the nerf to Dragoncaster. Currently I see no problem with it. But think about it with these changes. Rogue wouldn't be able to response at turn 7 your turn 6 Dragoncaster + Power of Creation / Box. Neither DH, since usually at turn 5 they used the weapon, and after you used your Dragoncaster, they would buff the heck of it to deal with the minions.
The only thing I think they missed is Murloc Paladin. This deck will be DISGUSTING right now, Odd paladin level. Right now it has a disgusting win rate. It's only stopped by DH and Warrior. But with these classes being punched so hard, nothing will counter. Mage also had a chance with that Dragoncaster. Now it won't. Same with Rogue. The problem with this deck is the dormant murloc. The synergy between this one and the ones that buff (+2 health and +1/+1) is just OP. Expect to see some nerfs to this deck...
Plague should be nered too
