Should have been:
Reborn 8 times
:^)
1 mana draw a bad card might be competitive if we didn't have 2 neutral Possessed Villagers right now
The mummified exterior coating offers this beast a little added protection, enabling a normally 1/1 beast to become a 1/2. Powerful card for rogue, thank you.
JUSTICE REINS FROM ABOVE
I don't know why people complain every time rogue receive a decent card. Now you have to complain because it is not a 1/1 , Town Crier, Northshire Cleric, Eternium Rover, Flame Imp and all 1 mana not 1/1 that all classes have and had. It seems that only the other classes can have good cards.
Tbh i don't think it's *that* strong, at least it's not comparable with Town Crier and the rest.
Jesus...why is this a 1/2, again? Shouldn't it be a 1/1? Blizz has honestly just lost all sense at this point, it seems. This expansion is turning out to be bonkers broken garbo
I'm serious: this really should have been printed as a 1/1, or a 2 mana 2/3. We all know decent 1 mana cards are extremely popular in Rogue. Swashburglar at 1/1 sees tons of play, and arguably a random reborn minion is even better than a random class card. At 1 mana 1/2 every Rogue will be forced to run this kitty and there will be tons of games decided by the RNG of this.
wellllllllllll let's not forget that Swashburglar's power had more to do with summoning Patches the Pirate
Comparing it to some other similar cards like Swashburglar and Town crier and looking at the current reborn package i'd say it holds up.
Compared to Town crier: Both cards add a minion to your hand. Town crier draws the minion from your deck allowing for a higher reliabillity while however also being reliant on your deck to have rush minions in it. The cat just generates the minion from nothing making it more random, the pool from wich the minion is chosen is expansion exclusive and right now looks to be decent.
Compared to Swashburglar: Swashburglars effect is determinant on your opponent but generally a bit more "random", as it can fetch you both minions and spells as well as weapons and hero cards, but because of this it can potentionally get you boardclears and other powerfull effects. Burglars cards will always be of your opponents class, while cat is not guaranteed to do the same. Burglar dies to ping while cat does not. But perhaps most importantly; burglar is tribed better than the cat, since rogue cant really do anything with beasts while pirates synergise well with rogue cards. Also the cat does not summon a 1/1 with charge from your deck...
It has both advantages and disadvantages to the other cards but considering the biggest appeal the cat shares with the other cards, that it can be played as a 1-drop yet still provide vallue in the lategame as a cheap vallue generating card, is enough to make it playable.
Yeah. Unless there are a lot more reborn cards we haven't seen I'm not even sure why they printed the paladin quest. What a wierd choice.
Resurrect Rogue incoming
Well yes but actually no
thought this was gonna be a hunter card
I bet if this was a priest card it would cost 2 - Blizzard balance logic ;)
Amaaazing value for 1 mana.
I really like this. There's a fair chance to pull a class minion and activate your vendetta/underbelly effects too.
Who needs a succubus when you can get a cute mummy cat!
Little cat Generating Colossus of the Moon
this is possibly the best art i seen in the everything blizzard every made.
Sad for my good boy blink fox
