You'd imagine a giant spiky bone monster with 6 arms, four of which are giant scythes and two holding an axe, to have more than 2 attacks. But who am I to judge?
Jokes aside, a nice card vs aggro. And we all know aggro always shows up at one point or another in expansions.
You are exactly right. To me it looks like this monster should at least has 5 attack. But his body looks thin, maybe he should be at 1 health. And how in the hell does wrapping tapes around your body enable you to Reborn? Someone must explain that to me
Yeah and while you're at it maybe change his name from Bone Wraith to Bone Rager! Wait, that sounds wrong now that I say it out loud lmao.
Yeah, but then you remember that 12 wisps can kill deathwing but it would also take 3 malygos.
They could create a card like N'zoth for Reborn minions.
You are hired!
And then nerf it by changing its text with "your reborn minions have +1 attack"...
In all seriousness, how about a new Kel'thuzad with the text "Your reborn minions resummon at full hp"?
BOOOONESTORM
BOOOOOOOOOOOOONESTOOOOOOOOOOOORM
more like "bonestoorm"
People underestimated Sludge Belcher, saying it's just a Sen'jin Shieldmasta + Goldshire Footman, both of which saw little play. Sludge Belcher turned out super strong.
People also underestimated Giggling Inventor for similar reasons. It turned out that Giggling Inventor was nerfed to 7 mana and still saw play in Shaman decks.
The lesson: combining mediocre minions into one without increased mana cost is extremely strong, especially for taunt minions. Now look at this. A 3-mana 2/5 with taunt would be a playable card at least (sorry Silverback Patriarch), and a 1 mana 2/1 with taunt is similar to Goldshire Footman. Folks, don't disenchant any copies of this. It has the potential to be a ubiquitous card.
How do you mean potential? It WILL be a ubiquitous card. It's even stronger than Sludge Belcher! For only one stat less it costs 1 less. It's an INSANE card and maybe this will revive steal priest and kodo?
That 1 stat matters a lot though, and the back end being a 2/1 instead of a 1/2 matters as well, since mage/rogue/druid can just ping it off. There are a lot of 3 hp minions in aggro/mid-range decks, and the difference between 2 and 3 attack in a mid-range/aggro deck is even more significant
It'll probably still see play, but it probably won't be in every deck. Besides, Sludge Belcher has been mostly power creeped out of decks in wild now, so...
The 1 Stat won't matter because this is also 4 Mana, not 5. Of course the 5 drop Taunt taunts better, but this comes one whole turn earlier and as such is better at saving your life.
It's better than Sludge Belcher.
gonna be one of the main stall card for control decks.
Welcome back, Sludge Belcher
my thoughts exactly !
this is waaaay worse than belcher
I saw the art and it took me a good 15 seconds to comprehend what I was looking at.
We'll see play with no doubt in standard at least, in wild they have sludge belcher which is a bit better, but just compare. Sludge belcher: 5 mana 3/5 and generates a 1/2. This: 4 mana 2/5 and generates a 2/1. The stats of sludge are definetely better, but this also costs 1 less, so, even though is not "op", you can be sure this will be played a lot in competitive in standard.
