Kripp & Trump are the REAL winners in my book.
If anything, this stream helped me to decide not to buy this adventure. I already disliked the dungeon run format and I put up with those because they were free. But to spend gold (not an actual issue since I have 20.364) on something where I get one boss that completely negates my deck and sends me to start over is a big no-no. Especially for the 5th Wing where you will have to defeat four more bosses.
This is not epic, fun or anything other people say to try to make this look positive. It is artificially gated content, designed to increase player retention. Shame they had to resort to this instead of you know...trying to make the game more fun in general.
I saw this in WoW before. They are not going to dupe me again just because it is a different kind of game.
Off Topic: Am i the only one who thinks Alliestraza & Slysssa are super hot, just saying :) and firbat looking like he's taking a dump :0 and disguised toast looks like he has all the emotion in the world
What does salt baron and king of vegans look like?
insane money.....please don't make me fucking laugh.
The fourth place is the average monthly salary where I live. While it's not "insane" money as the guy said, I wouldn't mind to play that tavern for a couple of evenings.
I can understand most replies on this event. Eventhough i enjoined the stream yesterday.
Sure there are some weakspots, like audio, the random cuts and those total different screentimes. I think slyssa, alli and pathra got the same screentime together like firebat alone.
But the casters do a pretty good job. They understand the situation and react propperly to it. This is just a fun event eventhough there is a pricepool. So its entertaining, that they sometimes give total bullshit advices like three Tesses to a leading player or good advices to teams behind.
I haven't really played since the expansion release. aside from quests. I have 2500g already for doing the dailies. I won't have to pay a cent for this content if I don't want to. Explain to me how fiat in-game currency is such a ripoff for using to obtain in-game content. Please elaborate on how this company continues to just "bend over" all of the players by scamming them out of worthless in-game currency. Can you critically think or are you incapable of it?
Why should I watch this Blizzard? Why should I care? Sorry, but I have better things to do than watch kids play meaningless PvE content before its released. Do you want to support these people? Maybe you should do some pack giveaways to boost viewership as you did for the world tournament nobody watched in spite of the pack giveaway. I'd love to tune in a remote computer and leave it on until I meet the requirements for the free packs. Watch this, don't make me laugh. Stop with the crap Blizzard and get real. 99.9% of players don't GAF about streamers who play this game or ever watch them, period. How about just release the dam content and let everyone play it and skip the BS. Maybe the vast majority of Hearthstone players would have more faith in the game and your company if you didn't try to promote the game through a select group of people you think are special. Once you release the content I'll play through it and get whatever rewards it offers and be done with it. Why your company thinks catering to nobodies helps the game is beyond me. Start focusing on the "game" instead of random knuckleheads with youtube accounts. I think you would be much better off. I'd watch these people if they were tasked to actually solve a reality-based problem that involves real-life skills and critical thinking. I'd love to see these kids try and make money day-trading. Oh god, would that be funny!
Looks like someone is super salty that a bunch of "kids" are have jobs that they enjoy and pay far, far more than the average salary. It's a shame some people just can't be happy for others who are living the dream
Well you cared enough to open a thread about it. You cared enough to write a big long post about it. It's not a massive leap to think you would also watch the whole thing just to tell everyone in Twitch Chat about how you "don't care" too.
Whats the problem exactly, who is forcing you to watch it?
The release date is still the same, this is just a sort of release events with some of the big streamers playing Hearthstone.
I enjoyed it atleast, I think kibler is excellent as a host as always!
I understood the cost of 700 gold before because you would get a few legendary cards, epics, rares and commons. This time however is different, we get 3 packs which we could of gotten for 300 gold. I wouldn't of minded 450-500 gold per wing, but 700 and all we are getting is 3 packs :/ Seems a bit scummy to me tbh. (Yes I know at the end we get a golden legendary and a golden pack, but I still don't think that's worth 2800 gold where I probably could have gotten 2 useful legendaries instead).
Pretty much each wing is split like this. 300 gold packs and 400 gold PVE...which is just stupid. 300 gold packs and 200 gold PVE however is a bit more fair.
The Good:
The content looks fun. Lots of wacky interactions, customizability, upgrades. A better version of previous iterations, though RNG heavy. Not too hard, but I guess that's what heroic is for.
The Bad:
Almost the entire broadcast. Random cuts, audio issues, terrible timing, unclear rules, very uneven screen time for the participants. And why the hell would you comment a streamer event like a tournament?
The obvious lack of polishing on the content. Graphics glitches, no interaction with the bar keeper when choosing to do nothing, stuff like that.
Still, I kinda look forward to trying it out myself, probably even spending gold on the wings. But I am not sure if it's worth any real money.
I pretty much only do solo except for daily quests, and as far as I'm concerned, based on how extremely different/better this is then Dungeon Run/Monster Hunt, it's well worth paying for.
Skipping the Kripp; and all the others, too. I want to be surprised by the content when I get to play it... in two days. -_-
Only after watching for a bit did I realise this is an actual "tournament" with an actual prize pool that is very considerate. At first I thought it would be a familiar, non competitive event (with at least not a HUGE incentive to be competitive) as it should have been. If this is a tournament with a ridiculous prize pool for what it is then why are casters coaching players? This level of interaction brings a nice format to watch and lots of cringe but it brings down any claim of legitimacy this event could have ever had.
Kripp hair LUL
I came back to home from work & launched this stream: well... Seeing some stuff from this adventure is in some point interesting, but...
But... How I could call it?
"Production Team"? Yeah - stream organization in many ways is fk'd up:
- mess, when it comes to changing "points of view"
- mess with video & audio
- mess with volume levels
- "messed up steamers" - there are quests for them, so they're trying their best & all of them are not like at their streams, or at least not how they should be: focused, quiet, not very much interactive with casters & viewers...
For example Firebat after finishing first chapter told something about their practice with this adventure before this event "they trained with the game, but not really much "Event point" (same as "organizers").
Intentions maybe were good, but at the end...
Please don't watch this crap and encourage them to pull the same shit for future expansions.
