What are some of your favourite Hearthstone moments?
Five Years of Harth
Blizzard put up a video to meet the voice behind our Innkeeper, Harth Stonebrew, Terrence Stone!
Thou hast speachen.
Happy birthday!
And everyone has their hand out asking for free stuff. How about you say thanks to HS for giving us 5 years of fun.
I just want something to commemorate the big milestone of 5 years.. not that much to ask for.
Where is
myyour present?jesus hearthstone u just turned 5 and you don't celebrate by giving us something commemorative?? big yikes.
Just imagine saying that to a real person, expecting them to give you a present on THEIR birthday. Come on man
It's a video game run by a huge multi million dollar company providing digital content for money, essentially printing money.
Typically large companies or products with a large fan-bases offer promotions or goods to help sustain a healthy happy community to further their income, at least a sale would've been nice.
It's a video game owned by blizzard, which is owned by Transactivision. Not a human being with a birthday party, also to make your statement conflicting, any good birthday party for kids has loot bags. And as you grow up, if you host a birthday party with friends & family, you typically offer drinks or food for people's time.
It’s also a free game, which constantly gives you, the player, free content in the form of expansions. So really, we have no right no cry like little children because for once they didn’t give us, and I need to emphasise this, FREE content on a FREE game.
This may come as a spoiler for you if you don’t understand how real life works, but there’s people behind these companies, real life breathing humans!
There are many successful games out there free or not offering rewards and celebrations for anniversaries.
Hearthstone gets their income from cosmetics and packs and the packs are already disgustingly overpriced in order to be somewhat competitive. Meanwhile other games only offer cosmetics, rather than the primary way to play the game.
Take a look at Pubg Mobile. One of, if not the top grossing f2p mobile game. Zero income from necessities in the game (you know, cuz it's actually f2p), one year anniversary event offering new visuals, many new skins, event bonuses and discounts on existing skins/crates. Aka time and money spent to make people happy and celebrate with their success furthering their income on digital content.
Hearthstone 5 years? Hey guys, it's our half-a-decade anniversary, k bye.
Go back to your "real world" and cuddle your waifu pillow.
No free stuff :(
I wish I live in world where we get some special gold promotion card just to celebrate the anniversary
so if HS is the birthday boy does that mean we need to offer something to Blizzard? I thought our souls was enough already
5 years ago, when naxxramas was launched, i asked my dad to buy me that expansion :)
Not free pucks?
Hockey is an expensive sport... and now you want pucks for free?
i mean they're cheaper than sticks or pads, he's only being minimally greedy ;)
Where's the free stuff ?
well, if you think about it, we owe them free stuff because its their birthday.
Well if you're thinking about think about it :)) they owe us A LOT of free stuf because we made the game so popular ;)
