Is this a 1 mana 5/5 on turn 6????
That’s how I read it.
If that's true than this card is broken af... Super versatile and great in a vacuum. Will probably be an auto include in most decks.
I don't think so...
Your mana crystals are set to five. It doesn't say they're full or empty. You just have five now. After casting this I don't think you have any mana, just five empty mana crystals. That's how I'm reading it.
That would be insane but I doubt it. I'm betting it's an effect that destroys your right-most crystals. So if you play it on turn 10, you'd have 4 full mana left still, and 1 empty.
9, 3. 8, 2. 7, 1. 6, 0.
Dear god this cards going to be annoying. Mojomaster is super good for maintaining your board state. Think about it most meta board wipes are usually 7 mana or more, so what you do is get a good board state then play this card so your opponent has trouble getting rid of it. As long as there not running volcano you should be fine.
You know what's better than Loatheb? A Loatheb that lasts 4 turns. You pull this against an Exodia Mage when they're nearing the end of their deck and...booya, game over. Now, yes, you set yourself back too, but if you already have a board, which is often the case, you just get to keep your advantage while preventing them from closing the game out. Instead they'll just close the client. And this goes for most combo decks. Shudderwock? Delayed by 3 turns. Bloodreaver Gul'dan and N'Zoth. 4 turns. If you're proactive and they're not, this can lock them out so hard they concede on the spot. They need their mana a lot more than you need yours and you got a 5/5 out of it along the way. This might be a staple of midrange decks for years to come, cause heavy control just can't wiggle out of this quickly enough before they die. I'm not necessarily saying that's a good thing.
I don't get why people calling this an aggro staple. It's 6 mana for basically just a 5/5 in an aggro deck, Druid can just play Spreading Plague next turn after this still.
You have 6 Mana , Play this , have 5 Mana , and use 5 Mana for ... well aggro stuff
You can literally say that about spreading plague for any aggro card.
All around me are 1/5 scarabs worn out minions 1/5 scarabs!
Druid hate card roflmao
Very interesting card, If need to bet something this is going to be a solid tech card against certain decks but we will see how things goes after expansion comes out.
Great card i like the idea but does it give you 5 full mana crystals or 5 empty when you play it?
Wow. An auto include in all aggro/midrange decks?
Nice to see something that could mess with druid.
Best card so far. At 10 mana u play a 4 mana this one and 5 drop. Breaks combo decks and control too. U can play this on aggro but in control too
Why is this anti combo ? If your playing aggro they wont be able to use combo. If you play control vs combo deck you just delay your death by 5 turns.
Folks are saying "use this against Druid!" but what if the opposite is true? Druid can recover from the mana crystal reduction faster. Play this before an opponent has 10 mana, setting them back to 5. Play Nourish next turn.
That almost surely isn't worth it, but I think it's an interesting concept.
This could be meta defining.
Anyone knows if it's empty or full crystals? Wording sounds like full crystals.
If it's full you can play a 4 mana card, this and a 4 mana card at 10 mana.
Sounda like a back-breaking card against control. Insane in any mid-range deck
Given that it would basically refund almost its entire cost if played on curve, I have to imagine they're empty. Or at the very least it won't refill anything (if played at ten mana, it'll probably destroy 5 that were used to cast it).
