Hearthstone Patch 12.2 - New Dailies, Hallow's End, Welcome Bundle, New Keyword, Bug Fixes
A new Hearthstone patch has arrived that makes preparations for the upcoming Hallow's End event, introduces new player ranks, a new keyword, and more!
- Casts When Drawn is a new keyword (phrase really) . Could this mean the next expansion will make more use of it?
- You can buy the new welcome bundle now to get some Classic packs and a Legendary dragon.
- Hallow’s End begins October 17 and lasts through October 31.
- A golden Witch's Cauldron is being given out for logging in during Hallow's End.
There's no 100% confirmation the Blizzard Events is the BlizzCon card back, but their "mystery" image in the patch notes has a BlizzCon logo in the bottom right corner. If it is the BlizzCon card back, the description is incredibly misleading. I recommend not buying the virtual ticket until they confirm the reward if it is important to you.

Not reorder my Decks yet? OMG!!
you Can reorder them by converting to wild and back to standard (wild decks will be always after standard decks so decks get reordered if you convert the format)
This. I reorder mine the same way. It's a little silly and time-consuming, but at least it's better than deleting and recreating all your decks in the proper order...
I know, but that is not I mean... That is a crappy way to do it. And for they win in pack$ yet it can't be development.
Well I'm software engineer myself. And no matter how easy it looks to you, it is actually pretty hard to do and not make a bug of decks just disappearing all of a sudden. So it would still require several weeks to actually do correctly. And they just have different priorities, as this is very minor and doesn't affect people who are not like us, the people who almost never (or actually never) delete decks... most of player base just don't care and sometimes delete all the decks they have and create them from scratch... that is why they introduced deck codes instead of sorting... too bad for us I suppose...
This is a rly good patch. Lots of bugfixes that ppl talked about past few months being finally patched up and pretty much dispelled all the confusion if some of these interactions were intended or if some of the new(er) cards were actually a new "secret" card type or not (Dormant cards, Magnetized mechs).
Good job Blizz, bit too slow, but at least we got there.
Matchmaking at rank 49 and 50 is really bad.
Wtf i dident get my dragonnnnn
Edit: Nevermind i got it now :))
Me too... i haven’t received, only the pack... :(
OR. Maybe we are disillusioned with a game that we have spent years playing and we are still frequenting the places we used to while we wait for the new game we are excited for to come. Almost every single Hearthstone resource is discussing Artifact in some manner and it's interesting to see the fanboys disturbed like they are moths getting too close to an open flame. Artifact is going to better than Hearthstone. It will steal a larger portion of the HS player base than the dedicated want to believe.
Heck, you. The people who will down vote this very comment. Some of you will be on the Artifact bandwagon before month's end. I guarantee it. I don't need validation for my choice to play artifact. Outside of the HS circle jerks, it's obvious winds of change are blowing. Artifact will be to Hearthstone what Dota2 is to HoTs. Just wait until these average joes get a real taste of a good card game.
Yeah probably it is being talked about because you spam those places aswell 😂
Or maybe you just cry all the time because you can’t play a lick.
Dont forget - the game has been dying since Beta according to the forum fools.
Some of us are interested in Artifact, and yet STILL dislike smug d-bag comments like this. You're getting downvoted because you're both rude AND not saying anything at all interesting.
Blizzard: "ye the enrage keyword was not widely used and we kind of forgot about it so it gets removed"
Also Blizzard: "yo let's make a new keyword for when a spell is casted when drawn, don't worry, we will support it"
dont hate on this man, he speaks the truth
Why does it matter either way? They're just trying to make the game easier to parse for new players. For old players, you shouldn't even be reading card text anymore - you know what it does, so why does keywording make a lick of difference to you?
Because they have been doing some dumb shit for the last courple of years
Wow, what a cogent, thoughtful argument. Really addressed my point in detail.
People talk about other card games on here all the time. Heck some of the most popular threads on the front page are discussing HS pros and streamers quitting Hearthstone.
People don't usually talk about other CCGs/TCGs here (what they usually do is whine about the X broken Deck/Card) but the meta is the same as 3 months ago so people are bored and Artifact and MTGA are the flavor of the month.... Give them some time to realize that none of those games is comparable to Hearthstone and the hype will die down, just like it did with Gwent....
P.s. Imo,the thread you're referring to is plain stupid... Pros and Streamers aren't quitting the game,it's just Savjiz that's doing it just like Lifecoach did when Gwent came out... Again. just give it some time, the hype will fade and we'll back to people complaining about Druid being broken....
