New Details on The Witchwood's Monster Hunt - Cannoneer, Time-Tinker, Hagatha
Shacknews sat down with Ben Brode this weekend at PAX East to talk about Witchwood. Here's the new stuff we learned!
- Cannoneer starts with a Cannon on board which is fired via Hero Power. It blasts targets across from it - positioning yay!
- Time-Tinker's final boss fight is herself from the future.
- Clearing Monster Hunt with all four classes makes them all join forces against Hagatha, the ultimate boss.
Ben Brode also said he thinks Cubelock may continue to be strong and if it's too strong, it may need to be nerfed. Also, there's a Shaman card coming which players will "lose their minds about".
If we're going to "lose our minds" about it, that makes me think that Shudderwock and Prince Liam are real. Since they were revealed in a pretty sketchy fashion.
I love Ben Brode x)
Well I'm early today.
So in the trailer the card BBrode was having a fit about wasn't the Hero Card, but this as of yet unreleased card?
hmmmmmmmm, I hope that's true then. Fuck Warlock, we see too many of them.
nahhh. I love me some Warlock! :P
Well, Warlock kind of beats Shaman conceptually - but we'll see how it turns out.
I still don't get why people throw fits about Warlock. If anything yell about Paladin, its win rate is noticeably higher and more threatening. Not too mention how Warlock gets messed up by Tempo Mage.
Highroll decks are also a thing, but they don't always have turn 4 Barnes, or 16/16 Edwin VanCleef turn 2.
I hate on mage and palidan more than warlock cause Call to arms is such a cunt card.
Secret mage is literally a face roll deck, with very little skill cap.
At least you gotta have some brains to play cubelock because I've killed so many Cubelocks that made bad plays.
