I think it's overhyped just like Blade Flurry.
Over hyped??? The overwhelming community reaction is this card is so bad that it must be an April fool's day joke!
I dont Think this is what warriors need to be good. even if the card would be great i dont Think it would find a spot in a deck because warrior already has so much good aoe.
Well if the warlock Godfrey card is good, which most people believe it is, even in a class that "already has so much good aoe" then this card is good as well, even better possibly as you can have 2 copies of this and 2 copies of gorehowl, if you wanted. I think this will be great for control warrior to make a comeback.
It seems like the art is kind of polarizing, but I love it!
I really dislike this card for two reasons - its art, inconsistent with the general art direction of the game, and its text, which I think is not worded correctly and should be "Deal damage equal to its Attack...". Not only because it, imo, sounds more correct, but also because a very similar card, Dragon's Fury, is worded this way.
Welcome back, control warrior
This must be April's fool. They will announce that this costs only 3 mana, will be a bit more usable. Itt will get a new artwork too. No reason to use it for 6 mama, too expensive and restrictive on weapons.
Because a 3 mana 5-7 damage AoE is totally balanced. /s
People said the same thing about Spiteful Summoner. "It's bad to only have big spells! The little ones are too good!" And even if they were right, which they weren't, another expansion or another meta could have made them wrong. And we don't even have half of this expansion's cards revealed yet!
Even if the card as is ends up unplayed for the most part, pricing it at 3 mana would make it incredibly strong (very arguably too strong). Whether top tier decks play it as is or not, if it were 3 mana, it absolutely would have spawned decks that used it because 3 mana 5-7 damage is excellent and it's not that big of a sacrifice to enable that. The closest comparison is probably Elemental Destruction which has a huge overload cost and does less damage.
blood razor very good so this card useless.
It might be rougher without sleep, though.
april fools?
Terrible card. Unless they release couple more weapons.
Cool card, but I'll adress the elephant in the room; whats up with the card art? I really doesn't scream the colourfull, vibrant Blizzard style to me.
That's because the artist is Wayne Reynolds
His artworks are strikingly "specific" to say the least. He uses a staggering amount of detail for equipment with quirky anatomy of characters and stylized silhouette.
you can see most of his cards here https://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Wayne_Reynolds
He did both the hero portrait for Anduin and Shadowreaper Anduin
The minion which upgrades the starting hero power requires odd or even cards? With the armor gauntlet can have a huge effect
This art isn't blizzard made.
