Well, now there's a good taunt for Bloodreaver, buff to bane of doom as well....and to Krul. MIght make Krullock in Standard a bit more viable (although without some more healing I doubt it)
Healing is definitely what stops Control Warlock from being more viable. This card seeks to help fend off aggression, but healing would be the thing that will swing Control Warlock back into the meta.
It cost 9 mana what type of an agrro deck is going to survive untill then and no control deck would care about tunt with how many removle they got belcher was at least 5 mana
This is only true if you've had enough demons die. Currently there are enough DK turns that do not summon a full board. In those cases this would just add to the value even if you don't hit the 9-drop. Also the chance of summoning a 9-drop partially offsets the downside. On average it's worth around 3 mana on resummon. Not as good as dreadlords on average, but better then the voidwalker(s) that are probably already in the resummon-pool.
I can see where the idea is for this card and value wise it is pretty great. The mana cost is probably the only issue I can think of. I think it somewhat devalues the usefulness of his Deathrattle, because if you've lived that long to reach turn 9 you're probably just about to enter your win condition with Bloodreaver Gul'dan, which means you're doing pretty alright. I feel that the mid-game is where Control Warlock struggles the most against tempo decks (Jade Druid). No point reaching turn 9 with this in hand when the Tempo deck has pushed your health to dangerous levels where you can't come back.
Imagine shuffle a bunch of buffed Mana Treant against token druid
You can say about Sludge Belcher the same... but in many situation it will be super annoying to play agains. Especially, if it can came back and it will with DK Gul'Dan...
The good old 'dies to Terror' mentality...
Yeah, that could make Hadronox viable.
Definitely, Hadronox would be broken if it had taunt. That means it could resummon itself infinitely.
Beautiful card, and very good in specific meta.
the only question is: Why the f...k isn't hunter get strong cards?
I can't see a scenario where this produces a lot of value. Obviously, it is a taunt with good(ish) stats, but it feels too late at 9 mana
Maybe in Krool decks? that's the only way I can see this being viable. Either that or as a hail Mary when you're really behind
Is that a joke<>?why every exp priest and druid get the best cards and the lock get this shit>?
So, Blood Reaver Gul'Dan, Defile, Despicable Dreadlord, the 2 mana spell with lifesteal, those are really shity cards rigth? , even gnomeferatu and treachery, both of them saw play in competitive
I think this won't be that good in existing DemonLock decks (because you'd much rather summon other Demons over Voidwalkers), but will be great in Control Warlocks that run Bloodreaver Gul'dan with very few Demons.
