As a priest main I think this card will not see any play :( Rip my hopes and dreams
8 mana heal 5 (worth 1 mana) play shadowform (overcosted at 3 mana) play area shadow word death which problem needs to hit 2 cards for it to be worth casting? passive effect sucks, seems kind of dull compared to what shaman get for 5 mana ?
should have killed everything with 4 or more attack for 8 mana also anti-synergy with shadow form
It can clear the battlecry of Thrall, Deathseer though. With Raza you can deal at least 4 damage for free every turn, how does that suck?
The day a priest effect can target and kill a 4 attack minion is the day Blizzard really has ruined Hearthstone. That 4 attack gap is a really important part of making priest removal spells effectively without being overly powerful, and keeping priest's identity as a "tricky class".
priest effects can already kill 4 attack minions, shrink mister and pint sized potion, would 1 8 mana kill 4 attack spell break the game ?
mage gives every elemental lifesteal and makes the 2mana ping summon a 3/6 lifesteal elemental generates value priest has to answer.
shaman dk double evolves instantly getting a board and gets a hero power evolve that can be cast together for 1 mana less than the whole priest hero full heal on any minon that attacks, imo usually giving value.
rogue dk hero goes immune, gets a dupe of any select card played per turn, value generation!
hunter dk 2 mana make a random beast value generation
priest dk battlecry does nothing to aggro board or anything with 4 attack (there are some pretty big 4 attack dragons)
heal hero power gone in its place? essentially base line vanilla shadow form, it isn't even deal 2 heal 2 just the same except rather than generate value it asks you to pay 4 mana and a card to deal 4 damage.
have fun not killing mage water elementals with the hero power, not putting enough pressure to get through the 3rd iceblock as they constantly heal with a board full of elementals, have fun pinging the 2 arcane giants per turn rogue plays. or whatever massive minions shaman board evolves into.
But Raza makes it good? so basically you are saying you need to have to play a highlander deck (without Reno!) play and actually draw one additional lengedary (raza) during the game for the priest hero to be "good" ? sorry just sounds bad to me.
calling it, I don't think this card wont see much play unless something else is revealed to make it work, it hardly seems fun compared to what the other classes got.
@Tari_, what I mean is that priest lacks single card hard removal for four attack minions. There are certainly some tools to manipulate the attack values of minions, but at that point you're in the tricky/combo space priest is supposed to occupy.
mage is good at stat manipulation, Im sure they will summon an elemental per turn even if they have to play / ping one of the their own babbling books or elemental 2/1 dudes which still gives them board and card advantage!
hunter dk battlecry is better I think because it does something to everything regardless. the priest battlecry does nothing against some board states. tbh
voidform in warcraft lore had nothing todo with being a deathknight... Im just sort of disappointed... I'm seeing all the other cool looking hero stuff and just seeing this as shadowform 2.0
maybe its ok just as a board clear against something like jade? it dosn't clear mages 3/6 board of elementals. and if your are in a state where the other guy has a board of large minions you probably are not winning and don't want to give up heal ?
but I guess I didn't realize priest could steal the other dk heros so maybe I don't even need this card as priest to have cool dk fun and broken hero powers ^-^
While this is not as good as the shaman hero, it is incredibly powerful and it is the best mechanic design so far. Really, that hero power is the personification of value, and with no randomness attached. Were that the hero power for rogue, warrior or druid, I think it'd be to broken, but since priest decks are always slow, this will probably be pretty balanced.
Why it is bad. AGGRO turn 5 win.

this doesnt control against aggro though. it is some sort of combo card that will be way too inconsistent to work. you clearly dont know anything about anything

Hero power only refreshs once you've played an other card ..

You have to play a card to refresh the hero power. Raza just makes your hero power cost 0
The combination DOES mean that you can do 2 damage with every card you play + 2 more at the start, which is insane.
Add Lyra to it and you get massive card supply of mostly cheap cards.
You have to keep playing cards in order to keep refreshing. Meme otk: 2xRadiant Elemental into a Shadow Visions loop, has to go fast tho.
Almost but not just with those two. Raza reduces the cost to 0, but you'd need a source of cards to play to refresh your hero power, much like with Auctioneer Beardo. To go nearly-infinite, you'd need Nexus-Champion Saraad or Lyra the Sunshard. However, in a regular Raza deck, it still could be pretty sweet. Priests often have lots of cheap spells. Imagine if on the turn when a priest played their Funnel Cakes/Priest of the Feast and gained 9 life, they also did 10 damage.
Raza The Chained acticvated, one shadow vision in hand one in deck, 2x elements on board to make it cost 0 ... Yes infinite hero power. also gets countered by the "no hero powers" minion

EDIT: nevermind, your grammar was so bad I misunderstood your sentence. Do you realize that this kills your opponent's minions too?
