Hold off Pyroblast for hopefully maybe one turn.
heh ... that's the first funny one i've seen around here.
Never forget the neutral epic 6 5/5 (or 7 6/6) do somethig useful or useless, this one seems useful
Isnt this direct counter to miracle? If you play it on curve (coin it out) rogue needs to deal with it before he drops auctioneer. Could be nice in priest decks b/c Anduin is really unfavored against rogues
This ain't no Loatheb.
naxx out pogchamp !
I guess everyone is too busy posting memes about how much they hate the new cards that they forget that this puts a huge dent in the ability of combo decks to ...well combo.
This will stop Miracle Rogue, and what few Quest Rogues are still out there, in their tracks. This also stops exodia mage and jade druid from comboing, forcing them to delay their plans for a turn, and possibly giving you an out for lethal.
No, it's not Loatheb. Nothing will ever be Loatheb, so stop trying to make Naxx happen. The devs already said that Naxx cards were holistically overpowered, and you won't be seeing that kind of power level in cards ever again except maybe in rare circumstances, but never as an entire collection.
Also, Loatheb only worked for one turn, where this can work for many turns: so as long as you protect it, it can cause long-term frustration for a spell based opponent.
Please use your brains folks, stop jumping on the hate train just cause you think it's edgy to hate on cards.
Sorry, 1 - 2 + 2 = 1, not zero
and rogues
I'm not sure it would see play in druid, at least not in the 2 types we have today. It would destroy jade druid, or the aggro but perhaps in big druid, it could see play.
I think you are right with with the paladin and warrior classes, perhaps hunter.
The cost to remove this card from the board in a spell based deck? Ouch. This card could see use.
A Fireball or Polymorph can remove it, but it would cost as much to remove it, as it it costs to cast. it forces trades with spells to be even. not to mention it protects you from Pyroblast and 10 mana combos.
Good against freeze mage and gadgetzan deck. Simple tech card.
Edit: also messes with Lyra
This doesn't go face that hard, I doubt it will see any play in aggro. It's likely to see play in control decks to counter Mage, Rogue, Druid etc.
If the effect for opponent too it is really good if you have a minion based deck...
Casting spells is very important in every class so it should be able to ruin Control decks better
Maybe a Counter for Aggro decks
And there Druid and Rogue spells that are OP, this could change the game play overall
I mean, who plays a two mana Preparation for one mana less cost or two mana Innervate for nothing then card Draw from the Gadgetzan Auctioneer
It has a value if you use it right
forces double Kill command till turn 10 and actually makes it impossible if there is no beast on the board, unless they introduce a 0 mana beast.
Ok, so Shadowverse had a pretty underwelming expantion(with over powered cards that a cursed by the community), now Hearthstone going through this. I know, that we only saw, what, 9 cards? But still, this time it's 9 misses in a row for me. That's underwhelming.
Did you forget TGT? Other than MC and Justicar most of the other cards were pretty meh
Not too hyped about the reveals so far either (only like 6% of the expansion), but I try not judge an expansion until at least a month after release. TGT did not look like much, and MSG looked fairly good and fun, but the MSG meta was much worse then the TGT meta.
I think their plan is to show the worst cards first, a "fine wine needs time" or so they say
