Nerf Announcement
Quote from KeganbeIn an upcoming update, we will be making a balance change to the Rogue card: The Caverns Below.
The Caverns Below now reads: Quest: Play five minions with the same name. Reward: Crystal Core.
Since the release of Journey to Un'Goro, Hearthstone has enjoyed a wider variety of competitively viable classes and decks than ever before. We’ve been monitoring overall gameplay, and we’ve decided that—even though everything is varied and many decks are viable—a change to The Caverns Below is still warranted.
The Caverns Below is uniquely powerful versus several slower, control-oriented decks and played often enough that it’s pushing those decks out of play. This change should help expand the deck options available to players both now and after the release of the next expansion.

Time to craft it golden and enjoy it while it lasts
Time to disenchant this abomination and craft Lyra the Sunshard, thank you Blizz.
Will there be a dust refund as well?
Most definitely.
If you're a boy you just made me come out of the closet.
Will this be a full dust refund applied to the account or would we require to dust the card in order to get the refund?
So now almost no one will play Quest Rogue. Typically Blizzard.
You're acting like that's a bad thing.
Never said that. I pointing the habit of team 5 of making problematic cards and then "fix" the problem by completely destroy those cards.
well in a way it is. Quest rogue was bad against hard aggro, but pretty good against control decks. Not quite control and not quite aggro. Considering deck viability is very high if this basically makes quest rogue unviable then it'll remove one potential deck you can play. With a big deck that counters control then it may make control decks a lot more popular. This itself isn't necessarily bad, but I feel it's always a good idea to have decks that have a mix of aggro, midrange, and control.
That was also the weakness of the deck. I not saying that is balance at 4 minions, but sure this change make more obvious the bad way of team 5 for dealing with their mistakes. As some people said, this is a lazy nerf. I mean they can even could make a cheaper cost but give the buff only to your hand or field, so other arquetypes could actually use the card.
Excellent. I honestly did not expect them to ever change this.
I am glad, wish I never crafted it. Always felt dirty the few times I used it.
