Blizzard: "Journey to Un'Goro Card Distribution is Working Properly"
In a statement issued on the Battle.net forums by Daxxarri, Blizzard has addressed the recent community concerns regarding card distribution and has clarified that card distribution is working properly.
Quote from BlizzardWe have seen a number of posts from our community today regarding Journey to Un'Goro packs and the possibility that they might be distributing an abnormally high amount of duplicate cards. We want to assure everyone that we have looked into this concern and have found that Journey to Un'Goro card distribution is working properly, both at a per card and per rarity basis, and is consistent with previous Hearthstone releases.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We really do appreciate all the feedback, even when related to possible bugs or concerns around the game.
I got 2 legendaries in 79 packs -_-
I guess i was lucky, i opened 68 and got 5 quests (including the paladin one in golden) and all were different classes, and Elise.
I can confirm it working as intended, I've never been very lucky and this time got 4 legendaries in my 68 packs. For clarification they were: Hemet, Pyros, Unite The Murlocs, and Kalimos.
Perhaps I just siphoned everyone else's collective luck?
Care to explain this pack to me Blizzard?
1. Emerald Reaver
2. Emerald Reaver
3. Emerald Reaver
4. Emerald Reaver
5. Humongous Razorleaf Wow!
2 legendaries (and Nemet + Sherazin of all possiblities) and only 5/27 epics in 63 packs, somewhat disappointing.
First and probably last time I will buy the promotion packs. Going back to F2P from now on.
70 packs and i only got 2 legendaries and it was 2 Awaken The Makers Feels Bad Man
i know it's all variance and what not, but i definitely opened less quality in these packs than ever before. 1 legendary in 80+ packs, certainly got me with my tinfoil hat on now...
It's literally impossible to have only received 1 legendary in 80+ packs due to the pity timer.. So you Sir, are a lying piece of shit.
They said it was the same consistency as previous expansions.
i opened 53 packs on day 1, got 1 legendary in that, then 24 the next day and none. so 1 in 77? idk what else to tell u my dude
so people concerns where "i get only one legendary in my 50 cards pack its unfair" because they are salty they didnt get the card they wanted. of course there wasnt a bug, just the usual community bitching wich is getting stronger, i got 2 legendaries from my 45 packs. f2p btw
Ahhhhh... the old "Nuh-uh!" Defense. Often followed by, "I know your are but what am I?" or "My dad can beat up your dad" response. 😉
Until something is done confirming it's fixed i don't feel comfortable buying any more packs......
Comment i stated earlier:
166 packs= 6 legendary, 2 duplicate legendary, massive multiple duplicates of epics and rares and commons. Still have not disenchanted them if you need proof. I also made a video as well. I don't want to have to buy 400 packs to 600 packs more just to complete this set. Was a little disappointed at the ratios on this one guys....
You do realize that's a legendary every 28 packs? A little unlucky but not too bad. The dupes are unfortunate but random is random. Not telling you to spend your money, just saying those numbers aren't unreasonable
Hmm... My theory is.. Blizzard just fixed the bug.. But, Blizzard just don't want to admit it... :)
I have a free to play friend who opened his three packs. Among his 15 received cards he got both a golden Spiritsinger Umbra and a golden The Last Kaleidosaur. I call BS
"We want to assure everyone that we have looked into this concern and have found that Journey to Un'Goro card distribution is working properly"
That means that "abnormally high amount of duplicate cards" ARE being issued.
I opened 100 packs and had about 10 cards that I received between 8 and 13 duplicates of.
Then a friend opened 100 packs and he had about 10 cards that he received 7 to 12 duplicates of...
...the unusual thing is that they were the exact same 10 cards for both of us that we receive an abundance of duplicates of...which is why I say BS to Blizzard's statement.
