If this was a demon, Sense Demons and other demon buffing cards could see dailylight during the next meta.
Otherwise, you need to be lucky enough to draw it in early turns.
Well you had the same process with C'Thun. They saw every time it was buffed. If he holds removal for this one card, then good luck dealing with other threats.
Do you played vs discard lock? Who cares about removals? it's spam with low cost agro s*t and face damage. If it's 4-4 for 2 and buff to your quest it's completly enough for OP value.
The difference there is that C'thun got buffed in the deck. Once they see this thing get discarded, they immediately know that it is in their opponent's hand.
I don't think it's that good.
Of course this is good. It will be good even as a 1/1 for 10 does nothing except it comes back in your hand after discarding.
The fact that's a 2/2 for 2 and gets +2/+2 is only a bonus...
I hope people realize that it doesn't get +2/2 for every card you discard, it gives the discarded cards +2/2 and returns it to your hand.
Nope. If you discard Zavas, it comes back to your hand with +2/+2.
did you even read the card text? lol
Nice! I've always wanted to have my Twisting Nether +2/+2!
Nope. he said "it gives the discarded cards +2/2 and returns it to your hand."
I think the downvotes speak for themselves. If you want to continue thinking that though, go on ahead.
Yeah except this card JOINS silverware golem. You now have 3 minions that can end up in your hand that remove all negatives of discarding. Including the fact that this all synergizes with a 1 mana 1/3 that can be easily combo'ed. With so many low mana cards in an aggro-midrange variant of this list it should be pretty manageable to still have something to play besides your discard-bonus cards, allowing them to generate nuts value.
As a longtime discardlock player...
Dang.
This is the dream right here.
This card is scary since i don't play warlock, also this type of deck and also the deathrattle priest encourage extremely aggro decks which i hope wont be a thing
(Not that I'd agree with him (not saying I'm disagreeing either) but) actually he said it encourages aggressive decks, not that it is one.
I think we may see a cheaper The Curator-like effect. Or some other way to draw a beast. That would make a Warlock beast very useful, because it's likely the only one you'll run.
Surely now they want warlock to be more aggresive..Discard warlock will be a thing..
Well it will be a "thing" again (probably) and possibly as a more midrangey-controley version too. (Hopefully 2 equally viable versions, Aggro and Mid-Control).
