What's on Your Hearthstone Wishlist for Next Year?
Hearthstone Game Designer, August Dean Ayala, took to Twitter yesterday to ask the community what they'd like to see from the game next year.
So HearthPwnians, what stuff do you want to see from the game next year? Personally, I'd love to see more of the developer insights series that Ben Brode started and I won't even be picky about who you put on.
Overwatch's Game Director, Jeff Kaplan, does pretty regular updates for that community and they're filled with insight. Talk to us about some upcoming content, even if its vague. Provide us with interesting stats here and there - don't be afraid to release stuff like that. Or hey, I know this sounds crazy, but maybe you guys could even use that blog for updates that aren't guacboi.

Stay a bit closer to the sword and sorcery origins of hearthstone than 20th century gangsters and 70's disco parties
Sums up 90% of what we need. Great comment. I can get behind all of those things.
We beed all of it. But, neh, w8 4 months for next nerf and new aggro 1 drops and nothing else.
My wish list:
Team 5 hires this guy.
New Hero's and classes, maybe like a lich king death knight class or a lore walker cho monk class
How about more rewards for players who have played over a period of time?
For example, if you have played for two years you get a special card back.
Or if you have got 500 wins you could have cards with are the same but with a different design. Example:
Monk class.
No more fucked up card like Reno .
Amen brother!
Less cards that win by turn 1 (yes I am talking about STBuccaneer + patches)
Game mode icons for mobile. It can't be that hard to make smaller icons.
A "True" casual mode for quests or deck testing with less incentive for those just gold farming.
Great ideas man! If only Blizzard implements them.
TY very much ^^
Give us more content more often, not having us to wait over 5-6 months for a new set of cards.
I want Blizzard to be more consistent with their mechanics in their expansions. I'd point out the new rogue set in the Gadgetzan expansion: they tried to push the jade mechanic, stealth, pirates and return to hand themes all in one set, but because they couldn't release enough cards to support all these mechanics none of them became consistent deck archetypes. In fact, the gadgetzan rogue card that is seen the most is Counterfeit Coin, which isn't actually connected to any of these mechanics.
If Blizzard had focused the rogue set on say, stealth interactions, then it would likely be a far more successful archetype. This way deck archetypes can be consistent in standard as well, rather than having to add cards to the archetype in new expansions, only for them to be abandoned when the cards they were designed to synergize with rotate away. I'd point to Kazakus and the kabal legendaries being left alone when Reno Jackson leaves.
Tournament mode with varying levels of buy-ins. Everything else is pretty good right now.
