Whispers of the Old Gods
Livestream starts at 1 PM EST! Twitch.tv/PlayHearthstone
Update: They've made some progress!
Update 2: /u/Panqueque over on reddit has provided some more pictures!
/u/Panqueque has taken some pictures of the other side of the wall and even managed to snatch a picture of the reference image the artists are using. It looks to be a Faceless one similar to the one we already know as Faceless Manipulator!
/u/That_Azzin on reddit discovered a hand painted advertisement in the works for Hearthstone on their way to work today. The expansion still has not been officially announced, but there have been several leaks over the past couple of weeks pointing to this as being the next Hearthstone expansion.
Awesome logo, and great work to the artists who are working on it!
where did u take this picture/get this picture from?????

Conspiracy theory: all these leaks are actually selectively thrown in by blizzard just to build up tons of hype for next to no cost, just like many smartphone makers are doing atm.
So on March 9th, journalist didn't get the release date yet (cf. Argentinian leak). Will Blizz announce it today or will just present cards and theme only?
Prepare for MAXIMUM POGCHAMP!
Slowest.....unveil......ever!!
He said in his comic book guy voice
FeelsGoodMan WE ARE READY FOR THE NEXT EXPANSION FeelsGoodMan
So much hype!
There is no "enough" to get all the cards. It's RNG and you will most definitely get a lot of duplicates. At least for 40 packs you can be sure you will get at least 1 legendary. Good place to start. Then afterwards you can probably craft some things as well.
Average cost of Classic was $400, from there just compare and estimate from the other Card Pack expansions.
am i missing somthing where did u read there was 123 cards in the set
You cannot be "sure" about one legendary, it's RNG, as you said ;)
After 38 packs of the same expansion without a legendary card, the 39 must have a legendary (: HS has pitch timers that increase your legendary chance every pack you open untill a max of 39.
I assume you have not checked out the pity timer posts. Some guys analysed a ridicoulous amount card packs opening and found it is not true RNG. There is a timer that slowly increase the likely of getting a legendary maxing at 40 packs at which point you should be garantied a legendary if you open the same type of packs.
I bought (via gold) 42 packs on release of TGT and got 0 legendaries. Took me a few more packs (3 or 4) to get my first TGT legendary. Of course, a friend who frequently buys packs bought the 50 pack bundle pulled 2 legenaries, so...
We don't know when it was introduced, but it is definitely the case now.
Don't know about that, but if Y'Shaarj won't have an insane deathrattle like summon all prime sha or something......I will riot.
Alright, back from the client! I must say that the original Spanish redaction is far from optimal. Let's focus on this paragraph:
"Esto hace que, al momento de jugar la carta de C'Thun -cuesta diez de maná hacerlo-, el poder del Dios haga un daño diferente de partida a partida. Y el daño lo hace al momento de jugarla. Por eso la importancia de armar bien los mazos para acompañar al Dios y, también, estar preparado con muchas cartas en la mesa a la hora de ser atacado con C'Thun."
This was a horrible piece of redaction that doesn't clarify C'Thun's card. What we know for sure is:
1. Costs 10.
2. It has a battlecry that varies according to C'Thun's power upon resolution, and
3. 16 of the minions that interact with gods can modify their power before they are played.
What we don't know is what the actual battlecry does, here are my speculations:
1. Timepiece of horror wording: Deal damage equal to C'Thun's power randomly split among all enemies.
2. Gormok the impaler wording: Deal damage equal to C'Thun's power.
3. Fist of Jaraxxus wording: Deal damage equal to C'Thun's power to a random enemy.
If the minions not only affect his power, but also his defense, we might even think about a power/toughness combination (case in which, C'Thun might be worth it even without supporting minions, but the card would get pretty wordy). The worst scenario would be if the battlecry is based upon ADDITIONAL stats, but I don't think it will be the case.
