New Neutral Legendary Card Revealed - Splendiferous Whizbang
Hearthstone on Twitter just revealed a new Whizbang's Workshop card: Splendiferous Whizbang
All Whizbang's decks and Duels Tresures will be discovered when the expansion launches (or during the Theorycrafting streams).
Discuss this Card- Whizbang (formerly Wonderful, now Splendiferous) will randomly assign you 1 of his 12 Experimental decks at the start of the game. These are curated lists that each represent a class with a unique twist on traditional deck building. :) (Source)
- Putting Whizbang in your deck during deck building will prompt you to approve the removal of all other cards from your deck, and will set Whizbang as the hero. At the start of the game it will randomly assign you an Experimental Deck, and the corresponding hero. (Source)
- If you ever played with the OG Whizbang, this will look very familiar to you. (Source)
- Drats! Technical issues were discovered while testing out "Copycat Deck."Unfortunately, this specific Experimental Deck won't be available when Splendiferous Whizbang goes live. The 11 other rule-breaking recipes are unaffected! (Source)
Question: Can you please clarify what quests will be in «Questing Deck»
Answer: The shaman deck uses the 3 current shaman quests. (Source)

true, i mean he only gives standard decks so why the heck is he wild only?
The card is only suitable for a fun deck
...Yeah, that's kind of the point
uhmm... will the old Whizbang still be working in the next expansion? I mean they have the same cost and stats so I don't see a reason why not.
This changes nothing about old Whizbang. He'll function just like before and draw from the same deck pool. You can't use both Whizbang's in 1 deck, cause they both force your deck empty except for themselves. And new Whizbang will draw from it's own unique set of decks.
What will be funny is if you play 1 Whizbang and your opponent plays the other. :D
That might actually make for a fun quest, sort of like the Nozdormu the Eternal one.
I still don't understand why wouldn't they move the old Whizbang to Standard instead of printing the exact same card. Packs got to be sold i guess.
Could at least have different stats and cost... Like a 12/2 for 6 mana.
Why? If you can't even play this card. Is a 4-Mana 4/5 cause the original Whizbang the Wonderful has does stats, and it's the same guy.
You really like original statlines, but then they print cards like Unpowered Steambot or Sabretooth Stalker and nobody plays them. The vanilla statline is the most standard cause is the most viable, and people don't like when the cards of the set had too many umplayable cards, for obvious reasons.
Devil's advocate, if any card is getting the weird unworkable statlines like what this guy asks for on the daily, a natural pick is the one card whose statline is almost completely irrelevant because you can't maindeck it, only randomly generate it.
The art is so ugly that becomes funny and I like it.
I don't really understand how the card works. I don't know if the deck are random, if are based on your class, like some of them give you full decks, but others like "this deck has 20 cards" what that means? It's going to have 20 random cards? They are always the same decks? Cause it would be pretty Wild if you get the Quest deck but your deck dosn't have ways to complete the Quests.
This set goes full on creativity, and that's rad. But I feel is lacking a lot with proper explanations. Harth Stonebrew already was pretty cryptic when realised.
I assume it's like OK Whizbang and these are fixed decks, with the obvious exception of Copycat deck.
Yeah, that's what I think. Mainly for the red text that says "All Whizbang's decks and Duels Tresures will be discovered when the expansion launches " So most likely they are different deck Formulas.
Which is cool because it means that the decks are going to be kinda playable (Kinda cause sometimes the decks that Blizzard made are not specially playable, I will never forget that Tavern Brawl of the Fangirl that had some of the worst decks that I ever saw in my life)
But it's also kinda lame cause the card lose a lot of variability and is going go end pretty outdated which every set, kinda more similar to Zayle, Shadow Cloak that to the original Whizbang the Wonderful . At least the Experimental decks look quite more Fun than the Evil decks of Zayle (Tho potentially one of the random decks is a Zayle deck)
Yeah, if they're going to print Whizbang-type cards they should have them update with expansions. Otherwise new expansions and powercreep will make the old decks useless.
How many competitive decks are there that have NO cards from new expansions?
Oh look, some dust!
Day 1 golden craft for me just like the previous Whizbang :)
This looks more fun than the OG Whizbang; it's almost like a one-sided Tavern Brawl on ladder.
Deck of Discovery looks painful to play against; players can be SLOW in making Discover choices.
On one hand, this card looks like its Diamond would be gorgeous.
On the other, if this card is Diamond, it would be without a shadow of a doubt the worst Diamond in the game, because you never get to see it in-game (Assuming it works the same as the original Whizbang)
OTOH, it could be that diamond Whizband gives you diamond and signature cards wherever possible in the decks he generates
I never played with the original Whizbang, but these decks sound like fun.
I wonder what happens when you play against someone else with a Whizbang deck and you both end up with "Copycat Deck"... :o
