What is this extra warrior legendary? I don't see it in the main list. Is it generated by another card?
I just realized you can go infinite with Azerite Ox with Rock Master Voone and Zola the Gorgon
if you use the new saloon brewmaster you can even play the ox on the same turn as you copy while also getting a +2 +2 on the azerite ox which means your roughly getting 23 stats worth + brewmaster 25 states worth on the board each turn likely with additional affects as well on the 8costs
I am kinda on your side, the armor gain shouldnt be 1 though, 2 would be in line.
A execute effect for 3 is just insane imho. Execute is alread underpowered for 1 mana. Nothing justifies playing it for 3.
Anyways I believe excavate wont work in warrior, the class cards are horrible overpriced and the neutrals dont look much better.
The reward wont be enough to justifie that many trash cards in your Deck.
You want to excavate asap to get the final reward, so Blast Charge is more likely to remove some 3/1 dummy rather than a titan. And this is insanely poor play indeed.
I can't figure out if the Ox is good enough. Ideally you want to play this as early as possible in the game to blow your opponent out of the game but the amount of excavate cards is so low that you have to highroll really hard to get it out at like, turn 6. Turn 2 kobold miner > turn 3 reinforced plating > turn 4 maybe another kobold miner/find a target for blast charge? > turn 5 burrow buster and then you get the Ox. Getting a 5/5 and 2 8 drops on turn 6 is pretty scary but the stars have to align for that to happen. If you want to play a control deck where bouncing the Ox is your win condition.. why are you just not playing 8 drop+ bombs in your main deck and forgoing the annoying excavate process? Odyn and blackrock n' roll decks seem so much better in comparison.
I really wish Velarok said "played this game", the reward is a good card but nothing gamebreaking. The fact that you have to PLAY the other class cards WHILE he's also in your hand is a big ask - you constantly generate unplayable garbage with thief rogue.
I wonder: does Badlands Brawler ALWAYS win Brawl effects, the card's own and those of other sources, too, including your opponent's Brawl ? I assume no, but I'm curious what you think due to the card's wording saying "always".
could be either. the second part seems a permanent effect, not part of the batllecry
Most likely just their own brawl, since if you have 2 of them, both would need to win.
There is precedent for how this would be treated. There is a Tavern Brawl card which always wins Brawls. If you have multiple of them on the board and play Brawl, it randomly picks among them which one wins the Brawl.
So no, they would not both win the brawl, the game would pick one of them to win while the other loses.
Azerite Ox seems a bit overpowered for 4 mana???? 5/5 and two 8-cost minions????
It's a token card. You have to excavate 4 times just to get it.
Mes'Adune - Maybe in a deck with few elementals where you can always get something broken.
Velarok - Not seeing enough Thief support for this to be playable.
Brawler - Very powerful and similar to Soulstealer.
Slagmaw - Terrible. You're skipping turn 4 and the payoff won't be immediate nor that impactful against a lot of decks. It would be good if the excavate discount was retroactive, but I don't think it is.
Ox - Pretty good, though it's obviously not enough to be a win condition on its own.
Last Stand into Slagmaw is a funny albeit bad combo

I can list off the things every class can do to stop/kill this, but if you play the game regularly, you should be aware of them.
Its also an IMMEASURABLY horrible top deck, and is really only ever decent at best on turn 4 exactly (that you’re also just passing playing this).
I guarantee you, in any sort of even somewhat competitive play, this hits face in less than 5% of the games it’s played.
It’s an absurdly bad legendary, and confirms that Odyn warrior will remain their go-to.

Slagmaw the Slumbering just as cool as the card looks it is as bad in terms of playability. Not only you spend 4 mana to do nothing, but also against new reno it might get poofed even before awakening..
Overall I feel like all warrior excavate-related cards should cost 2 less to be at least decent
Dormant minions can’t get poofed, but it is bad.
