This plus Brann could do some damage I guess.
Roll dice, draw and slide outcast and now attacking minions in hand.
Bit too much new stuff for my liking, but interesting card nevertheless.
Wow. Never liked DH as a class, but this card is nuts, i might change my mind
Wow. DH legendaries are so cool this expansion
Spell damage? Silvermoon Arcanist
evil laugh
I don't think this damage scales with spell damage since comes from the minion.
I think that they mixed things up to much with this one. This should be introduced as the opposite of handbuffing, not including the damage part in text, because the minion can only be damaged when it is on play (on the board), you can't damage it on hand. You only can buff it or debuff it (this is the contrary of buff in wow). So for me the text should be:
"...fire 6 random shots that give -2 Health to random minon in the enemy's hand."
Now it's clear that it only refers to the minion Health, and all the in play actions are not releveant here.
-2 health would imply that when something reaches 0 or -1 can
a) be hit again
b) would still stay in hand to be rebuffed or played and die instanlty but still triggering any battlecry or deathrattle.
This card works much better than that. It works like a patchwerk that only targets the hand, destroying anything that reaches 0. Weaker against big minions but better vs small minions.
It doesn't feel like it's worth it to build reno deck around this BUT HOLY HELL I'M GONNA DO THIS ANYWAY, THE ANIMATION, THE STYLE, IT'S SICK
I'm fairly sure minion effects like divine shield are remembered while in hand, it's just that kurtrus ignores it and these situations don't happen often in regular hearthstone. In BGs it's a big deal and demonstrates the game is coded that way. i.e. triple a minion with divine shield given from George's hero power and a bassgill will pull it with shield. Or taunt a feathermane before buying it will cause the summoned feathermane to have taunt.
A tech card that requires going Reno? No thanks. 5 mana 4/6 that doesn't impact the board is not a card for modern Hearthstone
This isn't a tech card. Just a universally good card
It isn't good against aggro, aggro cares way more about minions on the board
It isn't good in control vs control because it is unlikely to snipe out big juicy threats like titan or colossal (something Mutanus or Theotar can)
It is good to hunt for combo decks with cheap minions as combo pieces
It's good vs aggro too. It's delete aggro's hand turn 5, clear turn 6 and game is over. And vs control it might not be as good as patchwerk is, but it's still pretty damn good. For sure better than mutanus... Can easily destroy astalor, fizzle, igni, etc, inquistive creation, khazgoroth, theotar, thori'belore, stoneskin armorer, chillfallen barron, hematurge, hollow hound. You can easily destroy 2-3 of these cards at once and create a big hand advantage. It can also very much take out big threats, the 2 dmg ammount is just misleading you.
For example opponent has 3 minions in hand, 2 stoneskin armorers and odyn. All will be gone with this card. Mutanus would have a 1 in 3 to get rid of odyn. Supposing that opponent has 6 cards Theotar would have a 1 in 2.
You are terribly underestimating this card, it's strong and useful against all kind of matchups. Given the chance to shine in the right deck, this could potentially be nerfed...
It can shoot the same minion multiple times, which can kill minions with a health higher than 2.
As it's the Battlecry which does damage and not the card's stats, attack buffs do not increase the damage dealt.
Here's how the card works. The six shots fire randomly in the hand. If I am not mistaken, they can hit the same target more than once. If the damage to the minion is lethal, it functions the same way as other cards that destroy the hand and deck. The cards are gone, and they cannot come back with stuff like Big Priest. If they survive, they will have the damage already applied to it when it hits the board.
yeah! You`re right!
I'm aware this is beside the point, but if this takes place before Elise joined the Explorer's League (so, what, at least 3+ years before year of the gryphon?), the hell's he doing in the Badlands desperadoing?
How was Elise hanging out with the league of explorers in mechagon in WoW while also supposedly meeting reno in the badlands?
Now we are talking. This is a real legendary. Enough with forced archetypes, give us all flavor like this, instead of bland predictability.
