Upcoming balance changes are planned for tomorrow, let's look at the preview image we got as per usual before we get to know the exact changes.

It's like they forgot about Bulwark of Azzinoth. Could've been a staple in warrior control decks instead lets give mage two copies of a 2 mana spell thats better in every way.
So.... Sif can do 40dmg OTK turn ~8, Shaman can consistantly kill you dealing 30 dmg turn 6 or 45+ turn 8, Rogue mechs getting winfury can snowball out of controll and kill u turn 5 ( no need for LAB mech ), Slime Warlock can put 100 stats on turn 6 and they NERF ONLY 2 CARDS ??? I agree Solid Alibi should be nerfed to 3 mana or 2 mana but u receive max 2 dmg but Holy shit... Hearthstone DEVS are out of touch nowadays...
I am grateful that you are not involved in balance decisions
Otk on 8 is fine. Play disruption or aggro. That’s why they nerf the survivability.
They are just scratching the surface of the tip of this extremely unbalanced iceberg.
Nerfing Alibi to 3 mana and not nerfing hunter or shaman at all is kinda ridiculous

What a joke...
The fact that nature shaman didn't get hit is kinda wild. The fact that you can die to shaman without them having a single minion on the board to start their otk turn is pretty annoying. I think all they need to change is make it so Crash of Thunder can't cost less than 1 mana or change Flash of Lighting to reduce the cost of nature spells next turn by 1 but not less than 1. It's not that the OTK can't or shouldn't exist it just shouldn't be doable on turn 7 when the opponent is at 35 HP and the shaman has no minions on board.
Mana cost should not be reduced less than 1 in general is a good rule of thumb and they wont have to worry much about printing mana reduction cards in the future, but they refuse to do that.
Shaman is very easy to tech against though. Play any card that increases their spell costs on the turn they play Flash and they're usually boned.
No it isn’t. It’s a boring rule that kills combo decks
It had always been a problem with reducing cards to 0 and it will ever be. Community wishes for the rule „can‘t cost less than 1“ since years now. Don‘t know why they still don‘t do that.
Shaman in wild could kill at T4/5 by the way. Saw a video from dane. He said it’s one of the decks he absolutely doesn’t care what opponent is doing. He’s just doing his own thing. Sad for the opponent watching a whole turn gets destroyed with no chance to react to. Personally I don’t prefer such decks. Maybe one or two to test the deck by myself to check out the play and weaknesses. But after 2 games it‘s just boring to play. But there are a lot of people who don‘t care about to interact with their opponent, just wanna win as fast as possible. That‘s legit, too. But not mine.
The small part of the community that rants on forums wants this rule. Thats only your bubble though. Reduction to 0 is fine, depending on the turn it happens(not turn 3)
You may talk about standard where costreduction to 0 isn‘t that big of a problem. In wild it is nearly always problematic, cause of the early wins.
I‘m often playing fast decks on ladder by myself, cause I don‘t have much time for playing and just doing my 5 wins per week. But killing opponent consistently on t4 or 5 without interact is simply not good.
Until your next turn, your hero can only take (1) damage at a time. (Increased by each Solid Alibi you've cast this game).
PRAYS
That's genius idea!
that's a great idea, but too 5Head for devs to bother
Love the flavor! I'd say "double" instead of just linear increase, so 1-2-4-8.. dmg caps.
I hope its not a +1 mana for Alibi, cause that will have close to no impact to this deck's winrate
Mage plays it only on turns 6+ to stall for the otk. At that point, paying 2 or 3 mana makes close to zero difference.
The only possible nerf is to make you take more damage per hit. Either that or HOF the card already like Ice Block
